I was not a Kirby fan before this game. I simply bought it on a whim, because I was intrigued by the reviews and the general end of world aesthetic. Shockingly, the game was amazing. The musical score was impressive and the gameplay was straight-forward and fun. I beat the game, but didn’t unlock everything and that’s okay. I am fully satisfied with what I have played and thankful I gave it a chance. As a bonus, I now have a bit more fondness for Kirby.

The Pink Puffball's Perfect 3D Leap

Kirby's leap into 3D is a dazzling, joyous success, making this one of his best adventures yet.
The Forgotten Land introduces "Mouthful Mode," a brilliant gimmick that transforms Kirby into cars, cones, and vending machines, completely redefining level interaction.
Its design is exceptionally polished, offering approachable platforming for newcomers while hiding deep secrets and challenges for completionists.
Every level is a beautiful diorama, packed with vibrant colors and fantastic environmental variety, from abandoned malls to snowy peaks.
The controls are perfectly tuned—responsive and intuitive—making the simple act of floating and running a pleasure.
Boss battles are spectacle-filled and memorable, providing just the right amount of challenge without ever feeling frustrating.
Collecting the rescued Waddle Dees and rebuilding the central town adds a compelling layer of continuous progression and reward.
The soundtrack is an absolute delight, featuring catchy, uplifting tunes that perfectly capture the game's charming atmosphere.
While the main story is relatively breezy, the post-game content significantly ramps up the difficulty and longevity.
It's a pure dose of gaming comfort food; accessible, creative, and endlessly charming from start to finish.
This game proves that Nintendo's pink puffball still has fresh ideas in his endless, hungry gullet.
A must-play title for the Nintendo Switch.

Do you want an easy, breezy, platformer for babies? This one is NOT for you! This title can get legitimately challenging especially during the boss battles. It is much easier than Mario Odyssey and harder than Yoshi's Crafted World. There is a lot replayability when you're trying to collect everything. This is the best Kirby game yet.

Very very fun and laid back game. I got it for Christmas last year and just started playing it recently and am having a blast. Kirby has always been an awesome Nintendo character but they really hit the nail on the head here with this newest entry to the series. Highly recommend for any Kirby fans or even people new to the Kirby game.

As a new 3-D addition to the Kirby game lineup, Kirby and the forgotten land seriously delivers. The new mechanics added with mouthful mode, as well as the level design adapted for a 3-D environment, fit right in with the series.I was hesitant about them at first, but they really are enjoyable and an appreciated refresh in the series. I am so pleased with this new game. Every time I play it, it brings me joy. In particular, I love the resurgence of themes and power ups from Kirby 64, which was one of my favorites. They fit right in to this 3D addition to the lineup.
From the level design, to the sound and music design, to the variety of gameplay offered, Kirby and the Forgotten Land really knocked it out of the park. HAL and the rest of the team made an amazing game I will cherish as much as the classics before it. Thank you kirby development team!

One of the few times I can say I honestly believe a game deserves 5 stars. The gameplay is intuitive, fluid and pretty much flawless. The level design flows and is great fun and the art direction is gorgeous. Technically beautiful as well and runs without a hitch. The music is pretty much perfect for the game and competes the vibe. So the individual parts are fantastic, but the game as a whole transcends; it's pure joy. Rarely have I gotten a sore face from smiling the entire time while playing a game, but that's how fun this game has been for me. The new 'big mouth' mode is adorable, hilarious and incrediblely fun! Highly recommend!
*some find the game too easy. It's all about what you want from a game. Play it in Wild and make it your mission to explore, complete and find everything. 100% this game and you won't be disappointed.

I recently bought Kirby and the Forgotten Land for my nephew's birthday, and it was a huge hit! He's a big fan of gaming, with Geometry Dash being his all-time favorite, so I knew I had to find something equally entertaining. Kirby games have always been a staple in the world of family-friendly gaming, and this latest entry does not disappoint.
Kirby is such a beloved video game character, and even as an adult, I find his adventures incredibly engaging. The ability to gobble up enemies and absorb their powers adds a fantastic level of variety to the gameplay, keeping things fresh and exciting. The game is beautifully designed with vibrant colors, creative levels, and a charming storyline that’s perfect for younger players but still enjoyable for older gamers like myself.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land strikes the perfect balance between being accessible for kids and offering enough depth to keep seasoned gamers entertained. It’s the kind of game that brings families together, and my nephew has been having a blast playing it. If you’re looking for a fun, wholesome game that’s packed with charm, this one’s a must-have for your collection!

POYO! Kirby is back in a brand new 3D adventure!

Kirby is back in a brand new Switch adventure after four years.
Story
A giant vortex appeared in Dream Land and sucked up Kirby and everyone into another world. Kirby then find himself stranded and wanders through a new land full of buildings and new landscapes. But, Kirby is not the only one who got sucked into the vortex. Kirby found a strange creature named Elefin who tells Kirby that Waddle Dees have been captured by the beasts, Kirby is a up to the task to save the Waddle Dees and explore the new world.
Gameplay
The object of the game is to rescue as many Waddle Dees as you can to progress to the next stage. There are 6 worlds and 6 stages with the 6th one being a boss fight. Like many Kirby games, Kirby jumps, floats, and suck up enemies and objects to acquire a copy ability to use against tough enemies along the way, unlike Kirby’s 2D counterparts, Forgotten Lands is now in a 3D perspective which you can fully control Kirby anywhere you want.
While finding Waddle Dees, you will find star coins and objects that require as missions, whether to find 5 tulips, find a secret room or not to get hurt once. Another big feature in Forgotten Lands is Mouthful Mode. Similar to the copy abilities, Kirby can suck up big objects that gives him new modes such as a car, a lightbulb and so forth which helps Kirby progress through the level.
Presentation
Waddle Dees are not the only things to find, there are many special items to collect such as star coins, scrolls for a ability to upgrade and missions to complete. If you manage to rescue a lot of Waddle Dees, The Waddle Dees will build a small village as Kirby’s hub world filled with extra mini games such as fishing, lunch serving, tilting maze and arena. You can also use star coins to purchase health power ups, copy ability power ups and capsule toys. Find more Waddle Dees, and the village will grow more with new areas to explore.
Once you complete a stage in a world, you will find a crakes portal that gives you a challenge on the required ability, complete the training under a certain time limit, and Kirby gets a great Star. Getting enough of them will allow Kirby to upgrade the copy abilities to be more powerful that will be easier to defeat tough bosses. You also have an option to choose two difficulty modes. Spring Breeze Mode is easy mode if you want play the game for fun. And Wild Mode is normal/hard mode which give you 10 star coins after completing a stage. Whichever difficulty you play the game on, you will still have the same fun experience.
Overall
Forgotten Lands is a terrific Kirby game that brings in new ideas for the pink puffball. Like Super Mario 3D World and other open world style platformers, Kirby and The Forgotten Lands is a brand new experience to the series that can give HAL Laboratory new gameplay ideas for Kirby to do. Get sucked right in and enjoy the new Forgotten Land!

Kirby is one of those games that come and go without much of a fuss. But if you do happen to play one, they always end up being good fun games.
Kirby and the forgotten land is just that. A fun game. The post apocalyptic levels shown at first are just the tip of the ice Berg. You have multiple places you get to explore, and upgradeable power up to wrench havoc in those places.
Now the bad (for some, since I play every single player.) The multiplayer seems like an after thought. You're able to play all levels with 2 players, but 2nd player is forced to play using a waddle dee with a spear. So no copying abilities.
