I played Triple Deluxe before this, and thoroughly enjoyed this one tons more! The gameplay and level designs are oozing with creativity, and the music is a lot of fun to listen to. The use of the 3D function is actually present and useful (unlike other 3DS titles). Don't expect a ton of difficulty from this title, but do expect a ton of fun. Highly recommend playing this if you enjoyed Triple Deluxe or other previous Kirby games.

I've played every Kirby game that's come out and fancy myself a bit of a Kirby snob. Triple Deluxe was fantastic and this game not only builds upon what TD did, but surpasses it, putting it deservedly in my top three for the entire series.
Excellent stage design, fantastic music, great new powers, fun amiibo support (totally optional too!), cute visuals and an interesting story make this one great package. But if you're a fan of the series already, it's even moreso. There are callbacks in the form of secrets, songs, remixes and even bosses that will surprise you from Whispy Woods to the very final boss. I cannot recommend this game enough. Buy it.

If there's any Kirby game that deserves a rerelease, it's this one. This is the most fun I've had with a 2D Kirby game. A must for 3DS owners.

Fun new enemy types as well as creative levels keep this entry into the series feeling fresh up to the very end. Sure to be a classic, the inclusion of the friendly robot makes every power-up feel that much more powered-up!
While the series is known to be fairly easy, Robobot does offer collectibles and branching secret paths for an added challenge.
A pleasant game for new-comers and kids alike. A must play for Kirby fans!

I jumped into the series with Triple Deluxe and absolutely loved it. This game might even top it. The mech suit is incredibly fun and powerful to use. The level design is great and the different powers can really change it up. I found the story to be much better than Triple Deluxe and was laughing and engaged throughout.

This game is same as the previous release. Not taking a big step forward, but playing it safe. Just added a mech suit which is agile despite size. New abilities which are clever & useful. New modes & amiibo capable. Still fun colorful levels & catchy music as you would expect. Feels a lot like Triple Deluxe, a little nostalgia. Just another good solid entry. Has a surprisingly climatic ending.

Hands down, the best adventure game on 3DS right now. My son is 5 and played the mess out of this game for 2 weeks straight. Great gameplay.
Most of the same powers are back and some new ones. My only gripe would be that I wish there were more new powers and less older ones. I've played about 3 Kirby games and they've been recycling the same powers for years.
Being able to use mechs is what makes this game fun. The mech powers are not underpowered like most games. You can still get hurt but you can really do some damage.
If you like adventure games, it doesn't get much better than this. Getting some cubes might be a little challenging at times for children, but the game is still a blast.

Kirby games are not known to be hard or too long, and this game is no exception. But the story was cute and the gameplay was a lot of fun, especially the new mechs

Nintendo does it again with Kirby, but this time with a different spin! The Mech feature adds a unique element to the game play and makes it a little more challenging. The extra game modes are pretty fun and the amiibo feature is awesome! As a customer who ordered the game and the amiibos together, I can say that the amiibos added an extra fun level of gameplay with the cos-playing Kirby power ups! All in all this game was super fun and the story was pretty interesting too! If you like Kirby, then you will more than likely enjoy this game.

As a Kirby fan, I had always wanted to get this game but got no opportunity. Now I've got this game and it feels as awesome.
The game is quite different in terms of the environment settings, but I have to admit that I wasn't a fan of mechanized words--I enjoyed the fantasy style world of Triple Deluxe better.
Maybe due to the similar mechanism of Triple Deluxe, gameplay time was comparatively short (100% the game in 19 hours, no amiibo used) for me, and the mini-games feel more like prototypical attempts for new styles (probably because I played Team Kirby Clash Deluxe before buying this game).
Like I said, this game is quite different from many previous Kirby games, but it brings out the same awesomeness.

There's nothing revolutionary here. Bright, cheerful graphics make decent use of the 3D. Not too difficult (finding all of the code cubes is a decent challenge). A few extra modes to increase longevity. Overall, it's pretty much what you'd expect from a Kirby platformer, and a good sequel to Triple Deluxe. I feel like the stages are actually better constructed than average, making this one of the best platformers available on the system.

I have not played triple delux but from what I've heard, Robobot is similar but better. The game is fun and what you expect from a kirby game. ItsIt's not very difficult but it is very fun. The addition of the robot mechanic varies the game up quite a bit and will have you flying in the style of a shoot em up or driving back and forth across the background and foreground and solving puzzles. Definitely worth the buy.

This game is a LOT of fun! It's a fairly simple game that even my gf enjoyed greatly. The difficulty is very appropriate, and the music, art, and gameplay are all on point. The different powers really add a very fun dynamic to the game. The only shortfall might be that it's a fairly short game, so it might not satisfy hardcore gamers.

I played through the main story of this game in about a week. The challenge is quite low, but the puzzles will occasionally leave even the most experienced gamers scratching their heads from time to time -- especially completionists who need to collect everything. There are a few extra modes, but this review focuses on the main story and gameplay.
Kirby is a bit of an anomaly. It's a formula that shouldn't work as well as it does, but here we are. If you're a Kirby fan, you probably already know what to expect, and I'm certain you'll enjoy this game. Just don't come in expecting anything too groundbreaking. It's simple, casual fun, and it's also an excellent choice for younger gamers or people who simply aren't as well-acquainted with the hobby. Super cute with tight controls, fun boss fights, and clever puzzles, I think most people can find something to love on Planet Robobot.
Recommended, but if you've played Triple Deluxe or any of the Wii Kirby games, you should have an idea of what you're getting here. Also, the robots are super fun, and there's an Easter Egg ability that will appeal to fans of Nintendo's SSB (winky face goes here).

This is hands down the most fun i've had in a kirby game in quite awhile. Get ready for some out of this world, in your face, no holds barred robot fun. It's out with the old and in with the new, in this brand new kirby adventure as your favorite pink puffy dude gains powers beyond your wildest expectations. ROCK ON NINTENDO!

fun to play, bringing back the old style of how games used to be played. the 3d really made the game pop, its controls were easy to use, mechanics were fun enough to keep playing, and the levels were just the right length, just enough to not feel short, or long enough to feel redundant. loved it

As good if not better than Kirby Triple Deluxe. The mech suit adds a lot of fun to the game. The bonus mini games are fun too! After I completed the main adventure I felt like I wanted to start right over from the beginning. That should tell you something if your sitting on the fence. :-)

I played the earlier Kirby games for the Gameboy and the N64. Originally, I wasn't sure if I would like it. It's been a lot of fun with great puzzles to figure out. The mech suit is a nice addition and fits into the game play very well. Highly recommend for a hand-held game!

I've played this game through about 5 world areas and 40~ stages that last about 3 minutes each.
The problem with this game are as follows:
It is the same as Triple Deluxe, literally half the game is a randomized collectathon of useless stickers like Triple Deluxe's keychains. The 3-4 hidden object collectibles per stage have also returned to unlock a brand new EX stages for each world area. They aren't noticeably better than, and are about the same length as the stages that preceded it.
There aren't that many more powers either with most being consolidated versions of several similar powers in previous games to make single powers with multiple moves.
The Robobot is also limited to certain lengths of a stage or sometimes forgone altogether. To add to this, the Robobot suit's use Kirby's inhale ability to absorb powers into itself, is able to do 1-2 with any certain power. You only end up using a few of the powers with it due to the simplistically linear level design that Kirby is known for.
The game is best-looking handheld Kirby title to date. The boss fights are some of the most visually impressive, switching from an immobile 2d plane to a 3d rotating platform. The bosses with varied and multiple simultaneous attacks unlike any handheld Kirby games I've played.
The music is music. The side games are fleshed out versions of Triple Deluxe's side games. Take em' or leave em'. Buy this game if you want more Kirby, not more from him.

I've played Kirby for many years, dating back to my first on the Game Boy. Every iteration of the game has been great, but this one has really topped it for me. The graphics are great, the music is fun and the abilities are a blast.
