Customers are impressed with the sleek design, ease of use, and appealing appearance of the 1.4 Cu. Ft. Built-In Microwave. Many find the heating to be accurate, the noise level to be low, and the interior size to be ample, while also noting its powerful performance and easy installation. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Very easy to use, and I especially like the turning knob used to set the time. Heats evenly and as promised. And quick settings are convenient.

I am very pleased with the Kitchen Aid Microwave it looks amazing and so easy to operate. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a built in microwave

We recently upgraded to all stainless steel appliances in our kitchen. We went with the KitchenAid (over the Viking and JennAir) due to the features, looks, and ultimately price. This is a beautiful double-oven, and overall, we're very pleased with it. However, this oven takes a very long time to pre-heat, as it's only drawback thus far. To heat to 425, it took almost 30 minutes. My previous GE we replaced it with might take 12-15 minutes to do the same. Something you should know prior to purchase.

The built-in microwave is fine and looks good but I would have preferred all touch buttons instead of the control knob. Also you can only increase time by 25 seconds and the only express button is “add a minute”. No 30 second button. And what’s with the cooling fan coming on after each use? Never had that on previous microwave.

This is an under-the-counter microwave that looks built-in. Doesn't take up space on counter top. Nice looking face-plate. Works well so far. Haven't used it much. It is pricey.

I had to purchase this microwave because it's KitchenAid predecessor failed and repair parts were no longer available. This one is mechanically identical to my earlier one, so it was an easy installation. So, for lack of a $250 board, I had to purchase a $1200 replacement. And, it was only 7 years old.

Built in microwave that does all that microwaves do. Quiet and has a great handle that doesn't show fingerprints. Replaces last one and fits into built in cabinet. Inside doesn't seem to get clean and shiny.

Quality and straightforward control options are as advertised. Dimensions were spot-on for installation. The only thing to consider during installation is whether the conduit (protecting the electrical wires) might take additional space behind the oven and prevent the oven from sliding back far enough so the front face doesn't stick out. While this is no fault of the oven, it was wasn't obvious before installation with measurements. It was easily addressed with relocating the little electrical junction box it was wired into, behind the oven, more to the side. This allowed the conduit a slightly recessed path on the back of the oven, down to the junction box, that allowed flush mount of the oven front with the wall.

It is definitely a good looking and well performing microwave. It has a cooling feature that keeps the fan on allowing air to circulate through the front vents after prolonged usage. That should ensure longevity since these microwaves are supposed to go into cramped spaces. Dial to adjust time is unique and easily sets seconds required.
