This fit into the old space - unlike the more powerful model..and I’m glad. Works like a champ! Doesn’t have a timer but that’s easily fixed.

Was unsure about using a micro for the fan over my gas stove, but it turns on automatically when the heat from cooking gets too hot-great!! My micro was always on the counter, but now I have more counter to prepare food. Buttons are sensitive to touch and cook foods in a snap!

Excellent buy, Best Buy also had the best price in town.The promised pickup date was even earlier than quoted. The performance of the microwave is outstanding.

I am happy we finely decided to purchase over-the-range microwave, it gave us more counter space. And I was amazed how evenly it defrosted ground beef, no cooked edges and frozen middle section.

Have had for about 3 weeks and love it. Clean look, rack inside is also nice, basic features .... all you need in a microwave. Stainless Steel finish is easy to keep clean.

I love kitchen aid and with my remodel wanted to go kitcchen aid all the way. There products are a little on the spendy side but there customer service and warranty is great. This microwave fits the bill for all my needs. Have only had this one a few weeks so can't really say as to it's life span but so far so good!

Replaced same brand - good quality and features - compared options for price and this was worth the extra dollars!

I was forced to purchase from a different manufacturer, and although I was disappointed this wasn't going to "match" my other appliances, I am happy with the product and it's performance.

This is a very good and easy to install Microwave. It has all of the features i would ask for in a Microwave. Not sure about the first review. Ours is fully functional with all features working correctly, this includes the light inside the microwave when in use. Easy to clean. Ours was very nicely packaged. No damage. But we did pick ours up in a store. Looks great in our kitchen. Overall we are satisfied with this otr Microwave.

I was replacing a Kitchen Aid pro line microwave with this unit. The stainless steel is a finer (thinner) gauge and feels flimsy. The packaging is horrible. I had the first one shipped to the house and it was damaged pretty severely. The second on I had shipped to the store so that I wouldn't have to return it if it too was damaged. That one actually arrived in one piece. When I got it home and unwrapped it, the KitchenAid logo was installed upside down. If that is an indication of the quality control on the unit, I don't have high hopes that it will last too long. I preyed the logo off (Its attached with double sided sticky tape, and turned it around myself instead of returning it again. The installation holes did not line up with that of the old Kitchen Aid model so I had to re-drill the cabinets, which was no big deal but slightly annoying. So far after on month, it is working fine. At the end of the day, its just a microwave that is supposed to heat milk, make popcorn, defrost frozen foods. It does all of those things fairly easily. It does not have an interior light so you can not see the item in the microwave while its on. Seams like an obvious oversight in the design. A light would add about a buck to the cost. I think the main reason you would buy this is to match other KitchenAid appliances in your home.

Bought this to complement the KGRS505XSS Range and they make a beautiful pair. We love all the features on this microwave. The butter softening and melting is especially nice for baking. No delays waiting for things to soften. Have used this for about a month and couldn't be more pleased. Hubby installed it with no problems. Feels nice and solid when opening and closing.
