Replaced a 15-year-old GE. I was able to install this one myself following the easy-to-understand instructions. It did use a different mounting bracket with screw locations different than the GE. Features and operations are just as expected. The biggest noticeable difference is this one is much quieter than our old one. Hope it can last 15 years.

The microwave oven is a Kitchenaid, which is my favorite kitchen appliance brand. Its design is elegantly simple but complements any stainless steel or black stove. Easy-to-use, intuitive control panel. And it is QUIET.

Is it weird to get really excited about a microwave? I hope not since my family is super excited about this one. The sensor cooking settings are amazingly good, and it seems like magic to not burn the popcorn when using the popcorn setting. The design is very stylish and looks great above my Kitchen Aid stove. We love the notification chimes too. This was a great buy for us!

This microwave is just right. The best features including the sensor cooking and options to warm food just right. The exhaust fan works very well. An excellent upgrade from the microwave we had previously. Nice size and we really like the shelf option to warm several items at the same time, reduces the waiting for using the microwave.

We don't use the microwave for much more than warming up stuff, but this one looks awesome. We bought the matching stove also. It is easy to use and warms up stuff quickly.

So far, we are very happy with this microwave. We installed it ourselves, and overall, it was quite easy. I wouldn’t do it alone, though. The microwave is a little heavy and bulky for just one person. Now, for the quality. It is a nice mix of being aesthetically pleasing, well-designed, and well-built. Everything does what it is supposed to do, and it is fairly intuitive to operate. We have had no problems with anything and fully expect that it will give us many years of service. I highly recommend it.

We had initially purchased a less costly microwave and found the controls required a lot of pressure to activate. We also found the very light wording on the other brands control hard to read. The Kitchen aid was 100% better design, appearance and all the controls were way better right down to the comfortable grip and design of the handle.

This is my 3rd microwave in this house. The other two were garbage GE profile pieces of junk. I self-installed those and this one. Pros: Great mounting kit Looks great Works well Quieter than the GE models Door feels very solid and substantial, not flimsy like the GE models. Cons: Template for drilling the top holes in the upper cabinet was wrong. I checked and re-checked after drilling the wrong holes and I measured it properly according to the instructions. Huge kitchenaid logo at the top is a little garish. Doesn't have instant 1-minute, 2-minute, 3-minute, etc. buttons like GE has. While rated at the same wattage as the previous GE Profile model, it does not cool as quickly. As an example, my oatmeal would start to boil over at about 2.5 minutes on the GE while in this kitchenaid it goes to 2.75 minutes before boil-over. It's not a large difference but it is there. Things like baked potatoes take proportionally longer as well.

Kitchen aid has always always reliable and excellent. This microwave is no exception. It is easy to operate, spacious and very quiet. I was surprised how stylish it looks, especially near my Kitchen aid stainless steel dishwasher.

I have purchased a lot appliances in the past 3 or 4 years after remodeling my kitchen I don't always stick with the same name brand but when it comes to my microwave this is the only name brand I get. In 30 years this is my 3 rd kitchen aide There extremely easy to operate reliable and they are quite and sleek looking I'm very pleased The only reason I get new ones is not because they break but just because the style is outdated after owning them for so long

This is a good microwave. We have no complaints after a month of use. It is easy to use. My only issue is price. The black print shield finish is neat but not worth the extra money nor wait time. Took over 20 days to get it from Florida to Alabama. I had truck parts shipped from across the country the month before in 3 days.

They did away with the 1=1 minute, 2=2 minutes, 3=3 minutes. Why? That was so convenient. The vegetable setting is amazing. It senses how long to cook the fresh veggies, frozen veggies, or canned. All three turned out just right. Honestly, I mostly use a microwave to reheat coffee or soup, so I didn't want the convection option. This is quite large inside. It is also gray with the controls on the side, so a short person can see in quite easily.

This microwave looks very nice and modern looking. It’s quiet and easy to operate. I think that it should have had a no fingerprint feature and a couple of simplistic express time features that just required pressing of numbers on touch pad for quick add on minutes. Otherwise love it!
