Very quiet and does a good job of washing. The glasses sparkle

After reading the reviews I decided to buy and I was happy I did. It is quiet and I can hear the tv in the den while unit is running also the dishes come out looking shiny and clean; glad I made the purchase!

Just love my new Kitchenaid Dishwasher... washes incredibly well, so quiet and the third drawer is so useful for small lids, utensils etc. Highly recommend this machine - you will not be disappointed!

Cycle too long. Model without handle and front controls is a problem because it gets pushed on too often when leaning against it.

This dishwasher is quiet but it does not hold as much as my old one did.

I studied reviews for my finalist dishwashers (3 different models). My experience with this dishwasher is consistent with the most positive reviews I read. It's very quiet. The dishes come out sparkling clean. The dishes come out dry when using the heated dry option (of course there's always the upside down cup that may have the smallest amount of water in it's concave bottom but well within expectation). My biggest concern was with the third (top most) rack. I was concerned that I would not be able to fit taller glasses in the middle rack due to reduced available space. This has turned out to be not a problem at all. My tallest drinking glasses fit easily. Very long stemmed wine glasses may not fit. I'm ok with that. For daily use for a family of five I haven't yet found an item that I would need to place in the middle rack that I couldn't fit in due to the third rack. Other reviews have indicated that the touch pad is very sensitive and that is true. My dishwasher is recessed a bit under the counter top so it hasn't been an issue, but if your installation is more flush to the counter top you may have a problem with starting the dishwasher inadvertently with a hip-bump. In that case there is a lock on the touch pad that solves that issue. The third rack does come in very hand not only for larger utensils that will lie flat, but also larger platters that aren't too deep and will fit on that rack. Much better use of space than if the third rack wasn't there.

I really like my Kitchenaid dishwasher. It is extremely quiet, efficient, stylish. The style does fit the decor of our kitchen. It lives up to the reviews.

Very quiet, Dishes looks clean, and shiny. Just didn't dry totally, still have wet spots... but it's okay.

After reading reviews I decided to purchase this dishwasher over several other models. Since it was installed I've had to run dishes through 2 or 3 times to get them clean. Sometimes the dishes come out dirtier than when they went in. The cleaning cycle takes nearly 4 hours and it makes weird noises at times. The attached pictures of a bowl that went through the complete cycle twice and it still just as dirty as when it went in. I've tried different detergents, running the water to get it hot, and even rinsing the dishes until they are nearly clean (even though the manual says specifically that rinsing is not needed). I'm having a repairman out next week and hoping there is something wrong with my dishwasher and that they can fix it.

Tech was great..on time and courteous(john).used washer twice. Much quieter than the replacement and cleans very well.

Very quiet - hardly know when it is running. Was able to fit all dishes from a family meal in single load - great!

My third Kitchenaid in 45 years! None of them ever needed repairs. Cleans very well, and is very quiet!

My dishes come out extremely clean using the Pro Wash cycle. The dishwasher is very quiet.
