We upgraded from an older side-by-side fridge to this "French Door" style fridge. The capacity of the fridge actually decreased slightly, but we are able to use ALL of the space efficiently. The drawer of the freezer has a vertical space for frozen pizzas, which are the puzzle piece in the freezer that never seem to fit. Brilliant! The interior of the fridge is very pretty. The LED lights on the top and sides effectively light up the area without adding heat. The handles are gorgeous and give a look of professionalism. The also have a very nice texture. The measured fill function on the water dispenser has already sped up our cooking. It's easy to punch in 1-16 ounces and have it pour into a bowl versus sitting at the sinks for minutes to get the amount just right. It's a pretty cool feature that we really like so far.

Assembled in USA. Runs quietly. Holds more ice, dispenses it quickly and with no jams compared to my old LG French door. Great interior led lighting. We like the 3 drawer freezer compartment since it allows us to access the frozen food choices without digging. 10 yr main refrigeration parts warranty is a plus.

I upgraded my appliances from kenmoore. So far so good. I hinestly wished I would have gone with the other kitchen aid refrigerator. You have to open both doors every time you want froduce which lets a lot of cold air out. I like the open door alarm. On the negative, it takes forever to make ice.

I absolutely love my new fridge.. there is so much light to see everything! Super spacious in both the fridge & freezer section.

We knew we were buying quality with the Kitchen Aid but the attention to the little details are amazing! From the interior being bright and rooming to the way that the drawers are designed and function, this was well worth the price.

Sad to say we have had 2 refrigerators fail in last 5 yrs. Because of Geek Squad protection, each was cheerfully replaced by Best Buy. The KitchenAid - 26.8 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator is a new model and is built to improve the known weaknesses of what came before it, not mentioning names other that of Samsung. It also meets and exceeds on customer needs and interests. It looks great inside and out. It is large and totally functional in design. All the engineering is well thought out and it just works, silently!

Overall this thing is amazing. Love the grey interior and bottom dresser. Only problem that we had was on install the BB person didnt connect the water correctly and had to come back out. Second since the install about 5 months into purchase the ice dispenser container would overfill and when you open the door To the main fridge ice falls out. Note you just need to empty the container as the ice jammed up. It’s sleek design matches all my other kitchen aid appliances. Also Best Buy priced match it for me and had MUCH BETTER financing options than all of the other retailers!

This is a great refrigerator, it has a ton of space,its very quite. The options are great not to complicated just right, We have Kitchen Aid appliances so we wanted a matching fridge and this was a great choice

This is the most expensive piece of junk I’ve ever owned. From the beginning I noticed very cheep materials inside. Should have returned it right away. The stainless look finish on the drawers came off with the packing tape, and the part that remained is so cheep it’s deteriorating before our eyes. The front surface has rust looking marks under the ice maker, and to top it all off, ten months in we found the dreaded frozen block of ice behind the deli drawers, causing the cooling to stop. Had to throw hundreds of dollars worth of groceries out, and wait a week for repair. Thermostat, and pump had to be replaced.

Weve had this fridge for less than a month, but so far no problems! Lots of compliments on the sleek design inside and out, my only con is it fingerprints easily (common with any stainless steel appliance). Lots of room inside, customizable organization with shelves and trays, and unique lighting. Would recommend with 5 stars based on our experience with this fridge for about 4 weeks!

We have had multiple refrigerators brands over the last few years and this is our favorite. It has plenty of space and does feel like a higher quality fridge compared to other brands in a similar price point. Glad we went with kitchenaid! Finally, It was delivered with a very small dent that sits in the back of the kitchen cabinet and the delivery guys made us aware right away and best buy made it right! Very happy with their service!

Went to BB to research refrigerators. We first decided to go with American made. Secondly, the KitchenAid line had some must have features we wanted in a refrigerator to include higher end shelving, interior color, led lighting, a metal exterior tray for the ice/water and quality. The 5 door had those qualities but we wanted a 3 door. None were on display but the appliance pros looked online and found the one I had in mind. It’s not smudge proof but can be treated with SS appliance cleaner/wax. The rounded front finalized the deal.

The fridge is a good size without being too big. It fit through the front door and was able to fit in my condo kitchen. It makes the kitchen look nicer. The bottom freezer has some bins but believe it or not it doesn't hold much more than my previous standard freezer due to the layout. The fridge part is great with plenty of room and could not ask for more. The water feature is great but the ice gets stuck and does not always come out.

For a high-end refrigerator, this model and the company that produced it are both a huge disappointment and a consistent source of frustration. We have had nothing but trouble soon after buying the unit. It would stop cooling, either in both the freezer and upper refrigerator unit or just the refrigerator. We have had 4 service calls for the SAME issue, and were told that this unit has a known issue with icing up which will cause the cold air not to circulate either in the upper or bottom units, or both. I know when the issue is imminent because we can hear a fan or damper whirring so loud that you can't have a conversation in the same room. This happens for about a week or so and then goes back to normal sound levels. At this point, I know that the cooling will go from 34F up to 50F or over which spoils all the food in the refrigerator. This should not keep recurring. This is NOT a service or maintenance issue. Even the repairmen that came out said this is a bad design flaw and known issue and that a modern, high-end refrigerator should not require a complete power down and thaw at regular intervals. That's not what we like to spend thousands of dollars on. I've tried in good faith to come to a resolution directly with KitchenAid, but all they said they will do is send out a repair tech again, and we pay for labor and "external" parts. Why waste good money putting a band-aid on a flaw that you know will just come back 6-12 months later again. I regret putting my faith in KitchenAid and will NEVER purchase one of their products again.

Only had the product for a week but so far pretty good - a little concerned about the stainless steel not being smudge resistant. Still early days on this.

This refrigerator looks great inside and out. Unfortunately we are on the second one in a month since our purchase. First one made a horrible grinding noise when you ran the water out the front. Repair man said it was our water pressure. We paid to have a pressure reducer put on the main line coming into the house thinking that would help fridge and other appliances and pipes in our home. Received delivery of a new fridge and it was quiet for the first week or so when we used the water in door. Now it is noisy again. We have never had one that is this loud. I read multiple reviews and no one had commented on the noise from ice maker or water in door. I like the inside of it though. It's well lit and very rich looking with the gray tones instead of the white you normally see. Freezer has 3 drawers that aren't very functional. Bottom one is but other 2 are very shallow and limiting as to what can go in them. May see if we can remove one of them to allow for taller items in there. Overall it's a nice looking fridge. I guess I will just have to get over the noisy water dispenser.

Great Design, style and features. Glad we purchased this fridge. Like the supplemental under shelf lighting.

Purchased this refrigerator during out kitchen remodel. We were looking for a larger refrigerator, but also something more useful than our old side-by-side. This refrigerator is absolutely beautiful, outside and inside. Very roomy and the shelves can be adjusted any number of ways to suit you. I have three complaints that may impact your decision to buy this fridge. 1) After using only a few months, the part where the cold air comes froze up and the fridge was maintaining about 48 degrees, causing loss of some of our food. 2) The ice maker is fairly small, and doesn't make ice very fast. It might keep up with a family of 2-3 if your aren't home much or use ice very often, but for a large family, you will need another source of ice. 3) The sides of the freezer frost up quite a bit. Not really sure why, but it is annoying. At this point, I wouldn't say don't buy it, but just be aware. If I keep having to defrost this thing every couple months, that might change my opinion, but otherwise, we really like this refrigerator.

I love this refrigerator except for 2 things: I wish the ice maker would make the ice quicker and have a larger ice tray.

I love a lot of things about this fridge but one thing I do not like is the lack of space for tall itens. There is basically none unless you remove half a shelf. Even my ketchup is too tall to fit. Annoying that I have to lay bottles on their sides. But otherwise I love the freezer, love the drawers.
