Good use of space for this refrigerator. Didn't want the fancy "door within a door" or a screen on a stainless unit. LED theater lights plus shelf lights with grey interior makes for an upscale feel. Deli drawer plus 2 drawers for friuts/vegetables. Deli drawer requires both drawers to open. Freezer has plenty of room (with the full size 30" depth unit, not the 24" cabinet depth). Front pocket in freezer drawer holds pizzas. Water/ice dispensers make more noise than our Jennair we replaced. Unit holds temp in freezer well, refrig is effected by door usage more than expected. Wish it had digital temperature readouts for actual temp. Only setting the temps will readout on door. (We ended up putting inexpensive refer and freezer mechanical thermometers in) First unit delivered had issues with cooling and lights within the first week. Unit was replaced and second has worked perfect for over a year.

Love the fridge, was worried the gray might be dark but the extra lights inside make it fine. I like the size and the not loosing self space to the ice maker (makes ice in ceiling, holds it in the door. Does make noticeable noise when making ice, But its made more ice in the 3 weeks I've had it then the LG that lasted 6 months ever did.

Looks nice, and runs quiet, It is not as efficient at storage as I thought, but it may just take time to figure out where to put stuff. Shelves are not as adjustable as I had thought; they tend to be too high or too low. It is well lit inside.

The ice dispenser is louder than I’d like. But otherwise, it’s been great so far.

We love the space and the lighting. It is very quiet. The installers were on time and did a great job with the installation.

Absolutely a beautiful addition to our kitchen. Sleek look outside, especially how the handles look. Inside, the Platinum interior displays luxury. The inside wine draw works perfectly for our wines storage. The exterior ice and water access is so convenient plus it provides you the ounces discharged. Good purchase!

This fridge is big! Lots of drawers, shelves and storage. Love the freezer on the bottom instead of the side. Easy to reach food and lots of light to see what’s inside. Really nice.

For a chef with hundreds of sauces and spices space is limited. No container for cheese. No butter dish or egg tray. The holders on the doors for condiments are small will not hold many jars. Had to rearrange shelf's for milk. The ice and water work nicely. You still have to open both doors every time, not just one door to find something.

We have only had about a month but are very pleased. Read a lot of reviews (Best Buy & others) and no issues with any issues that others were concerned with. Lots of room in both the refrigerator and freezer. Ice maker is not noisy as others complained about. Good interior lighting, drawers slide smoothly. We considered the 5 door but I felt you lose too much space (1 cu ft), but would not have been an issue.

We love our new refrigerator. Very sleek design and lots of space and drawers. Also very flexible in terms of shelf placement.

The Kitchenaid is the best looking French Door Refrigerator, short of going with an expensive built-in. The handles, footing and curved door design give it a much more upscale look than any other refrigerator I saw at similar price points. The stainless steel finish is good quality but does show fingerprints. Very nice interior lighting too. Previously owned a side by side style so we are still getting used to the french door style. The only problem we experienced was with the doors being out of balance and rubbing when opening and closing the doors. We had to have someone out to adjust them.

Platinum addition mainly because it was immediately available to replace dead refrigerator. Very attractive interior with nice shelving. Ice maker is pretty loud but works ok. Ice is not clear and cubes stick together. Getting some discoloring at dispenser plastic base which spells cheap!! Most annoying thing is the full sized drawer inside will not stay closed full or empty.

We actually really liked the overall aesthetics of the fridge before reading anything or purchasing. the three drawers in the top of the freezer are definitely a cool feature! the gray interior was different, but we liked that too! after a year of use - we did have to have the fan and thermo coupler replaced *this is a known issue with this fridge. Apparently though, we should be good to go for years in the future!

We bought this January of 2017 and the repair man has been here twice. The first time in July to defrost the freezer, the whole back of wall of the freezer had 3" of ice. The second for the fridge, behind the deli drawer was another 3" sheet of ice. This time parts were ordered and I was asked to unplug the fridge it took 4 days for it to defrost. When it works it is great and I like the design

Purchased this unit in 2019, less than one yr old and we have had 2 service calls with light issues. First time with 6 months on the unit one light went out in the freezing compartment service call #1, second time several lights stopped working in the frig unit service #2 - parts are on back order as of this writing (2 weeks and holding) which means lots of issues with these lights on many units .. The handles (frig and freezer) also routinely come loose and require tightening - only 2 adults using this unit in the house so if you have kiddos and expect a worry free experience - suggest you pass. If you have a flashlight handy or don't mind wearing a headlamp this unit may suffice - otherwise you may want to keep looking at other models.

I ended up getting the fridge with the self closing drawers (five door model) love it has plenty of room and compartments.The fridge request you replace the water filter and air filter every 6 months no matter how much you use it (about 60 + bucks ) talked to the salesperson told me since im the only one to use it a year should be fine which is what i do anyway

Bought this Kitchen Aid after my compressor went out on my LG. This Refrigerator offers more than enough storage space and complement's my kitchen.

This refrigerator replaces our 20 year old Kitchen Aid that was still working but not to our expectations. Very happy with this new addition.

Replaces our 14 year old KitchAid side by side. Like replacing a Ford with a Caddy. This refrigerator has all the bells and whistles. Platinum interior with LED lighting really makes finding items a breeze. Adjustable shelves a real plus and the ice maker spits out smaller size cubes than the old frig making it easier to drink from a glass. This is a 10+.
