    I used to have a GE Monogram side by side built in refrigerator of exactly the same size and it is a lot more roomy then this KitchenAid. Also, the doors are a lot heavier. I am not happy with my new KitchenAid refrigerator since I don't know where the interior space goes. Also, the doors are very, very light so I do not know if I've closed it tight. Every time I close the door, I have to give it a second push to make sure it is indeed closed. I didn't pay enough attention to the door issue when I bought it. I've just used it for two weeks.

    Just terrible build quality for such an expensive fridge. Kitchenaid is trying to play in the high-end market with this and they are just nowhere close. Within a year, 3 of 5 drawers broke - the clear plastic just fell out. The shelves are cheaply made and don't contain spills well. The ice maker is just the same cheap plastic one in their other fridges. It ices over and jams up every couple of months. If you have a high-end home and are shopping built-ins, I'm sorry to say - there are no budget options. You need to spend on the good ones or (like me and others here) you will be buying this AND a better one soon after.

    Item was sold to me for delivery in June. Got an email 1 week before and stated it might be available in late November. They lied about availability and then would not find one in a timely manner.

    Beautiful Refrigerator

    Beautiful refrigerator in general. But, after owning it for 3 years, the LED lights in the freezer stopped working. Thank goodness I purchased Best Buy’s extended warranty. Still in the process of getting this issue resolved. Would probably still buy KitchenAid; nothing lasts like it used to years ago.

    Stay away from Kitchenaid at all cost

    While this fridge looks nice, it has been nothing but trouble. After 4 years, the problems just keep mounting up. LED lights fail, and while kitchenaid warrants the lights, they do not warrant the labor. All the freezer lights are out, and one in the fridge. Wired in series! Control board was bad and needed replacement. Ice maker door not sealing properly so ice maker bucket freezes to freezer, frost and ice build up in the freezer compartment. Entire mechanism needed to be replaced. We are in over $800 so far with no help from Kitchenaid. Can't get extended warranty on this lemon as it costs over $10K. Water tastes bad, even after installing brand new OEM filters. Freezer storage layout is poor. We have a kitchen full of kitchenaid products and they are all becoming problematic at year 4. Junk

    TERRIBLE WARRANTY SERVICE

    Kitchenaid warranty service is the absolute worst I have dealt with. First your issue is handed over to GUINCO the service end of the warranty. Then you are told that there is a FEE for the company (GUINCO) to come out to look at the problem. I'm kind of OK with that but if the problem is found and its a warranty issue you are NOT REFUNDED the service fee. That is issue #1 now for #2 KITCHENAID scheduled the appointment for me. They also said that they would put me on the CANCELATION List. So If an appointment opened sooner they would let me know. Well something opened up for the next day. I sat home waiting for Their TECH DANIEL R.to arrive between 2 - 5pm. No one shows up so I call their Phone # 480-536-9001. And I'm told that the TECH called me and no one answered ( I had my phone with me all day and I did not receive any calls). They also read my address to me and no such address exists. So after giving the correct address to them which they got from KITCHENAID, I AM NOW TOLD THAT I HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK BEFORE THEY CAN GET SOMEONE HERE TO TRY AND REPAIR MY REFRIGERATOR. AND I'M ONLY GIVING 1 STAR BECAUSE I CAN'T GIVE "0" !!!!!!

    After waiting 18 months, we finally received our KitchenAid refrigerator a year ago---- It's been 1 year since our KitchenAid refrigerator was delivered and the warranty for the refrigerator will expire in two weeks. From the day the refrigerator was delivered (November 2022) the Ice Maker did not work. The repair technician has been over to repair the Ice Maker 10+ times. Now the refrigerator itself does not work. It’s been 3 weeks since we ordered a compressor and waiting for the part to come it. Now, the entire refrigerator is not working. We are so disappointed in this model.
