Don't Purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased in July 2020. Had F47 error code about 6 months later. Kitchenaid sent out technician. After 2 months without a cooktop they decided to replace the cooktop because they couldn't get the required part. Three months later and the new cooktop now has the F47 error. They are telling me its a common issue and the next available service appt is 1 month out. Don't purchase, nothing but a headache.

My old stove top had a crack in one of the burners and I didn't want to wait for it to stop working. Super fast cooking; you can boil water in one minute! I don't know if it's the stove but when you are using all burners at the same time it overheats and it shuts down. I don't do it that often and haven't looked into it but it's a major downside.

Since installing it with the wrong size wire could cause a fire we returned the cook top. Hopefully Kitchen aid will fix this error and provide clear instructions. Best Buy was awesome and took the cook top back.
