We had recently purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher and have really liked it. We decided to go with the same brand for our stove. It is very easy to use right out of the box.

We were upsold on this range by an associate that assured us that KitchenAid was commercial grade and therefore would be higher quality and longer lasting. But I can't find a single thing about this range that justifies the price tag and it feels more like a low end unit with a high end name.
To start, we were assured that the top had a special coating that would clean easily. That has definitely not been the case. One small overboil and we have a stain we can't remove.
The convection oven, one of the primary features we were looking for, can't possibly be a true convection as we were told. I have baked biscuits and cookies that were just barely browning on top and the bottom ended up just this side of burned and very hard. Not even close to the even baking I would expect from a true convection oven.
For a 'commercial grade' oven, the drawer is awfully flimsy.
Lastly and one of the most disappointing things is that it takes much longer to preheat than our previous range, a Kenmore. I wish I had that and my money back as we have been extremely underwhelmed with this purchase. In no way does it live up to the $1,300 price tag.

Overly complicated set up for oven use

The stove top is not as difficult to clean as others have stated (and I am a messy cook), but it is more difficult than my last smooth stove top. I clean it EVERY time I use it with Cerama Bryte. The placement of the burners is strange--they are off-set. One side is different from the other side, and they are difficult to see. The oven settings are not intuitive. I'm sure I'll get use to it and it might even make sense, but not yet.

Looks nice and has a lot of nice features. Especially like the option to cook convection or standard. Big burner on top is great for large pots like for lobsters or pasta.

If you want a easy to use yet top of the line range this is the one. We have baked, used the range and it works flawless and quick. But the look of this range is amazing.
I would recommend this to a friend

nice looking, bottom drawer is too shallow for us, oven & cook top have many new options

This Kitchen Aid model is simple, without a lot of gadgetry, but works well. We struggled with our L3 range, which failed and reset a lot. This Kitchen Aid appears well built

It works well, but the glass surface is very delicate. Also, the stovetop sits lower than I'm comfortable with. All controls etc are at the back, which is handy, but some of the fonts for the descriptions of functions are pretty small and hard to read

Great design, large capacity oven, has all the features I wanted in a range! Bakes very well & stove top cooks great! I fear scratches though on the ceramic top but thats just me being overly protective! A great product & baking capacity!

Upgraded to this range, this is an awesome conduction range, with a sleek design. The top is easy to clean and for the most part it does not smudge easily with finger prints!

My original stove barely operated. After trying an inadequate, less expensive brand/model I opted for the Kitchen Aid and I'm 100% satisfied in every way.
