In the midst of a kitchen remodel it got sheet rock mud on it, so I washed it on delicate cycle, by itself, and had started unraveling and ripped before the washer finished, I then air dried it but It's not fixable. I wish i hadn't bought this.

But beware, if you have the type of mixer that I do...it will not fit the kitchenmaid mixers with the lift bar. It is unfortunately too small, as I found out today. I would have loved to keep it, but if it doesn't fit what can you do??
