Plenty of torque and speed for our first stick blender. I would have preferred more (or variable) speed settings, but this was the only model in the store. It was a last-minute purchase. The lower half with the blade attaches easily to the motor body. I would appreciate a tighter detent, as the 2 halves have separated a few times during use. Still, we use it regularly to make banana pancakes.

If you like to make soup this is the perfect blender. You don’t need to transfer your veggies to blend, you can easily blend in the pot. Less things to clean. Aside we can blend some fruits to make juice.

Got this to easily mix soups, mashed cauliflower, etc and it's really a time saver. Mixes well, easy to use, but I wish you didn't have to hold the power button while mixing. Overall a good purchase

It is an amazingly easy machine to clean and I love that it comes with a chamber to keep already blended dips and smoothies for another day. The design is super sleek and I love the color.

I find this mixer to be excellent for preparing my morning Bulletproof coffee. Meal preparation is much easier and faster than using the regular blender. Cleaning is quick and easy. The color even matches my wife’s kitchenware.

I bought this because I was going to get my wisdoms teeth taken out and I was only going to be able to eat purée food for the first week. This save my life. Now we are constantly using it.

If you're on the fence about this product, please stop second guessing. Buy it. I cannot believe it took me this long to buy a hand blender. It has easily become one of my most used kitchen tools. Fantastic item.

This lovely Kitchenaid hand mixer is the quality I expect from the brand and is so pretty in red. The mixing cup and lid make it so easy to mix smoothies and prep soups etc.

I bought this KitchenAid 2 Speed Hand Blender for an easier way to make blended drinks like milkshakes and smoothies at home. This was my first time ever owning or using a hand blender before, and when I first took it out of the box, I was shocked at how huge it was! It's literally the length of my entire forearm from elbow to fingertips (not including the cord!) Despite it being gigantic, it does come apart easily at the middle for storage and cleaning! You can even wash the bottom blade half in the dishwasher! This hand blender has worked well for me so far, and it crushes ice like a champ! I can't wait to utilize it in more recipes besides drinks, maybe soups, dips, etc. I really love that it also includes a handy cup to blend in! The electrical cord on this blender is plenty long and has options for free moving or locked positions, which are nice to help keep the cord out of your way during use. Overall, this is an excellent addition to my kitchen and I couldn't be happier that it came in my favorite color too!

I wish I’d bought this product years ago. It makes preparing soup SO much easier. Not having to pour ingredients from a large container to a blender and back is a great savings. The immersion blender is a great value.

Light weight with easy cleanup appliance. No fuss and assembles easily

This is very useful if you are a soapmaker.. you need this for the batter. There is no need to buy an expensive blender, as I saw that there are some for $199. This does the job just as well. In fact, even I i dropped it many times and it still works.

We've always used our Oster for all our mixing needs but end up hurting our hands cleaning it. Love the hand mixer because of its versatility, ease of use, and clean up is very easy as well!

I bought it for my wife she loves it. we had lots of preparation she accomplished a few tasks already. For owning it for 3 days so far so good hopefully stay the same

This was purchased as a gift for my cousin because she seems to like cooking and I like being invited for meals. She has enjoyed using it to blend smooth sauces so far.

Great for mixing soups--right in the hot pan eliminating the need to cool before blending in a blender or food processor. (Also, easier to clean than a blender).
