I have been using this a lot this winter (soup season)! It is so hard to put soup into a blender, with this immersion blender you can just blend right in the pot. My most recent soup I wanted just some of it blended, so I used the container that came with it to blend the veggies and broth (there were a few potatoes) and then added that blended mixture back to the pot of broth and veggies as a little "thickener" and was still able to have a great veggie soup without cream or flour. You will find a million uses for this tool. It untwists to break apart for really simple cleaning. A true gem!

Using the blender you can feel the balanced weight which provides a feel of quality. The detachable lower half and blade make it quite easy to clean. The 2 speed option is also great.

Very good product. Easier to clean than a blender. It was a little difficult to take off the blender head to wash, but after a few uses it's now easier. Has 2 speeds.

I've had this item for at least several weeks now and am pleased with my purchase. Mixer is a great shade of red, and has been really great to use for mixing. Parts are easily detachable and quick to clean, though extra care needs to be taken when cleaning the blade itself. It is very sharp. Great buy!

I already own this and love it! I bought this for my mom as a Christmas gift! There is not another hand blender that compares to the quality of this one!

Its a good quality doesnt take to mich space in your kitchen I use for a lot of things and works good 2 speeds and easy to clean..

At that time I had a gift card in my best buy card. By using that card I bought this one. It has a sale price in that time. I saved money & got a very good quality hand blender. Very easy to use. Using this one my wife is very happy. For the price & purpose it's a good hand blender indeed.

Works great and is a great size so it fits into my small cabinet perfectly. Quiet and lightweight

This hand blender (pretty color) is well made and comes with a wide blending jar. I poured liquid whipping cream in the blending jar and blended it to stiff peaks in minutes!! The blending jar is also great to whip up a milkshake.

Does a great job of blending soup ingredients without splattering. Extremely quiet. Easy to clean. Light. Long cord. Excellent!

I've used this blender for pureeing cold soups and blending ingredients for crepes and thin pancakes and it performs well. I've also used it to break up ice cubes a bit in drinks, but it won't crush ice, as verified by other reviewers. Very simple to clean and is faster than taking off beaters and scrubbing them individually as sometimes happens with regular hand mixers.

Just what my wife wanted. Does a great job gettin' all up in yo mix! It blends all sizes of hands, from animal to people, just chop off your hands, chuck 'em in your cup, BZZZzzzZZzZZZ...SCHWACK.....bzzzzzz…..and VOILA! It blends, by hand, where no other blenders dare to blend. And it looks good doing it, in a snazzy tomato red finish....Hard to beat!

I love this mixer. I bought it to replace another that the blade was broken on. It’s easy to use and I was able to get Geek Squad Protection in case I break another blade

I had to replace a stick blender and purchased this one. I've used it several times and appreciate the sturdy feel of it. It has a good weight and balance and the waved edges at the bottom are perfect when I'm blending something in the tall-sided cup (included with the blender). It doesn't stick to the bottom of what I'm mixing because of suction.

This unit is everything I want from Kitchenaid - good quality and reasonable price. The design is sturdy and I like that the blender part comes off to protect the motor. It's powerful. The power button takes more effort to control than I might like, making it a little awkward to keep on while working over a hot pot. I chalk some of that up to my failing fingers with age, though.
