The coupling between the blade shaft and the motor housing is especially suspect. Let's hope for the best but I would not count on it..

Color red is beautiful maching my big blender. I blended stewed tomatoes and later bananas in no time. I bought it to help me make baby bood. Very happy with performance so far and price.

It's one of my most used kitchen tools. My last one was a Cuisinart that eventually died (actually it's alive but makes a loud noise now). This is very attractive, but there are 3 things I don't like about it. The body is a bit too long for easy use, it's not as powerful and seems to add too much air, but the deal breaker is how difficult it is to remove the blade attachment from the body! If you are used to whipping your blender out frequently, using and giving a quick rinse, this thing will slow you down and frustrate you. I almost couldn't take it apart, and I don't want to wash the entire thing. My Cuisinart had a quick-click removal button, and I just assumed this one would to. If you have arthritis and any gripping issues, don't get this blender! I will likely return it and find one that meets my needs, despite its beauty.
