I was super excited to get this immersion blender after I had read other reviews and done my research. It had many of the features I was looking forward to. However, my experience was disappointing right out of the box. Literally. Although the plastic storage case is a nice thought, there is no handle on it, and it it too thick to grab onto with one hand - my average sized female hand is too small to grab that case - I had to make sure I firmly had both hands on it to pick it up. Annoying and awkward. Not letting that dampen my enthusiasm for this new appliance, I opened the case and tried to get the parts out. Mind you, I am a 48 year old woman who builds scenery for a living and is not a wimp. The parts of the blender were in that case so tight I ripped my hands apart trying to get the pieces out. Ok. So I decided to ditch the case, and find a container that I could easily pick up and keep the parts in. A Tupperware worked nicely. Now came the time to use it, and the disappointments kept rolling in. First I tried chopping some vegetables in the chopper - it could not cut through the carrots - they just got stuck on the blade and rode it around and around. I tried onions, looking up directions on the on the internet thinking maybe it’s just me - but no, even following all the directions and advice, still faster and easier to do it myself with a knife. Then, when I washed the parts of the chopper, without submerging the top, water gets inside it and cannot come out. I find that GROSSLY DISGUSTING. Trapped moisture inside something you use to prepare your food. Yum. Now let’s talk about the motor body - the top of the unit is smoothly mirrored, and the speed settings are tiny black hashes that disappear. See the picture. And don’t even think of trying to adjust that speed if there’s even the slightest oil fat or hand cream on your hand - no way it’s gonna move. By that point, I was so disheartened with this tool I just packed it up (water still shaking around in the chopper body) and returned it to Best Buy. I’ve never been so disappointed in a tool before in my life. It makes me sad.

This little product is very powerful and SO easy to use, but also stores away in the provided storage container so nicely! I find myself using this product more than my food processor, just because it's easier to access/clean.

I love this kitchenaid blender and the storage box it comes in. I never have to look for the blades ever thing has its on spot easy to clean. Works for many dishes can even use it in the pot it has a protective head so you don’t damage your cook wear. Great product love this.

Always like kitchenaid products. It is a must have product for every kitchen. If you love to cook you need this. It's easy to use, it's not big and bulky, it's easy to hold in your hand, and it thoroughly blends everything that I make with it.

I was looking for a hand blender and purchased this one upon reading the reviews. This comes with a nice case to hold all the blades and the attachments. I like to be able to store my small appliances without taking up random space in my cabinet. It's a powerful unit and would recommend it in place of a standing blender. It does all the things that a regular blender does as well as crushing ice.

My daughter has been wanting an immersion blender for a long time. It works much better than doing small hot batches in the blender or food processor. She's been using it for wonderful smooth soups and sauces. She really likes all of the attachments and appreciates that they came in a case to keep them in.

I got this for our kitchen to replace our 9spd KitchenAid immersion blender that we had given away, while still operating perfectly. I was concerned about the fewer speeds but I was pleasantly surprised that this has all of the power of the one it replaced and I really don't miss the in-between speeds. The versatility of different attachments also gives the potential to pare down the appliances in an already crowded kitchen cabinet. Blend, mix, chop, process, this does a lot. And I especially like the touch of the removable non-stick cookware guards on the bottoms of the blend blade housings. KitchenAid doesn't miss a detail.

My standing blender broke and I've always wanted to try a hand blender. Looked at reviews and got this one. Was not disappointed. It comes with a case to store all the working parts which is a space saver. It has 3 speeds and can crush ice.

Love this blender! All the atachments easy to use and the storage case is very helpful, keeping everything together. It does exactly what I need it to do and it’s not a bulky machine on my countertop!

I’ve used one of the accessories and love it so far. Includes a pan protector. Works great so far!!

I bought two of these -- one for my best friend and one for myself, and it is easy to use and stores easily out of the way in the storage case. I don't use it often, but I know that when I do that I can count on a reliable blender. I like the attachment on the bottom that does not scratch my pots and pans. Good investment and fun to use.

Love that this thing comes with so many attachments and the separate food processor. Works very well and beats having to transfer things to a blender. Comes with a nice case to easily store everything too.

needed this, got it on sale, and i was pleasantly surprised with all of the accessories. it will definitely come in handy when making soups and baking! perhaps it will even hold me over for a while until i can afford the stand mixer? :)

Kitchen aid has always been a top brand for me and this exceeds my expectations! Has made food prep super easy and all of the additional attachments were well worth the extra few dollars. Very durable too!!!

I am loving this product.. chopping onion was a pain for me.. this product makes my life easy :).

This product lives up to the kitchen aid standard! My wife loves how easily she can mix up any sauce or waffle mix! The only concern I have is that it is a little heavy for someone with weak wrists.

I bought this to replace several appliances. It does all that and more. Just love it.
