(I do not have an engineering mind, but was glad to see that there was a change in the design of where the pitcher connects to the base.) I am impressed with the power of this model as well as with the lightness and size of the pitcher. I had considered getting a higher end machine - but for my light use, the brand's proven durability, and at the price point - this model is the best option for my needs.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We've only had this blender for 2 years and it just suddenly stopped working. Unlucky for us it just passed its warranty too. I really expected a Kitchenaid to last more than 2 years. Really disappointed.
