I was told by several people not to buy this, it was too lightweight to actually grind meat.In my experience, it's quick and efficient. It works pretty good if you follow the directions.It needs to be taken apart to clean out during use sometimes, mostly for raw meat. I used the metal one years ago, and had to do the same with that one too. Grinds cooked meat and vegetables just fine. Overall, I'm satisfied.

I have noticed these go on sale a few times a year so i figured I would give it a shot. Trying to mix dough for bread with my old galaxy mixer the gears would grind and it would get stuck. With this Kitchen Aid, the thing doesn't even hesitate, it's kind of boring if your just trying to make brownies, get for the power and longevity.

I got this for small meat grinding jobs, and it works perfect for that. i don't think this is an optimum device for large meat processing jobs. it can do it, but it would take a very long time.

works well with any kitchen aid, great for those that like to make fine ground beef, ground chicken etc.

Easy to use. Must have a mixing stand to use and know how to use it before using attachments.

This was a nice package deal for meat grinding & sausage making. Works well & has so far held up really well. Can’t go wrong with this.

Great product. Exactly what I wanted. Will be used a lot.

It's never going to do as well as a dedicated meat grinder, but it is good enough for small batches of non-game meats. Pork, beef and meats without a lot of sinew are okay. I would never try to put venison through it though.
