Coming from a mid-90s 5 quart bowl lift Kitchen aid, most things will be familiar, but different. The bowl is wider and shallower, with the head attachments changed to fit. This makes it easier scrape the bowl down (or get a bowl scraping beater and save yourself the effort). The only downsides, the unit feels lighter, the motor a bit whinier and bread dough (1 kilogram of finished dough) recipes seem to cause the unit to struggle a bit versus the mid-90s model. Overall, still an excellent mixer, but its clear Kitchen Aid has slowly been cutting corners.

I don't bake. But I have always wanted this because not only does it look GREAT (and you can buy a storage bag for it on Amazon for about $40) it has a reputation of lasting decades. I got the PRO version which can do more heavy duty work than the Artisan or classic.

Have had this unit for 2 years use it at least once a week and haven’t had any issues it. looks beautiful sitting on my counter top it’s simple and just works

I always wanted to buy the kitchen aid for my daughter. She is a pastry cook at a high end restaurant. Your black Friday price made it affordable. Thank you. This is the second one I purchased. The first one was last year, gift for one of her co-workers who left for Japan. Her fellow workers all chipped in for the going away gift. Great gift huh. In Japan, that kitchen aid is ridiculously expensive. I am glad I saw your ads. Last year this gift I got on line made me want to get my daughter one. I am glad I did. You know I liked it now that I bought one two years in a row.

I've wanted a kitchenaide stand mixer for a while but couldn't find the right size for the value. This one is perfect! I can now say I like to bake! It's so convenient and really does a great job at mixing all the ingredients together evenly and powerfully! The tools it comes with are a great beginning for those who like baking cakes, cookies and bread. I will be adding a pasta attachment soon too :)

This thing will mix it. ....no matter what it is. Variable speed will go so fast it'll sling your cake all over the kitchen. ....or so slow you'll get old while it mixes.

This mixer is fantastic. Especially since it came with other attachments that I didn’t have to get. Was able to any type of mixing right from the start .

This KitchenAid Pro mixer is amazing. It is so powerful that it mixes a double batch of bread in no time into smooth dough. We use it for everything mixable and have fun doing so. Clean up is easy. Do wish it came with a longer cord, have to move it closer to the outlet and it is extremely heavy.

I bought this as a present for my grandson who is interested in chef training. This mixer is a professional quality appliance that is suited very well for his interest.

Solid all the way around. The ability to raise and lower the bowl is much more convenient than raising and lowering the head like on the lower models.

I burned up several mixers making cheesecake until I bought a Kitchen Aid. I have had mine for 20 years and is still going strong. This one is a gift.

I am replacing my smaller KitchenAid with this larger one. I do a lot of baking and this larger model will make it much easier. I will be able to double my batches of cookie dough with this one. I also like the larger dough hook because I make bread and cinnamon rolls. I am looking forward to adding some of the attachments next.

This mixer was a wedding gift for my granddaughter. I have one like it and also gave mixers like that to my daughters in the past. Great quality mixer.

I make bread and I do it everyday. This product has shown to hold up to making several loaves a day. Will be making everything with this product.
