This Kitchenaid out of the box was was such a gorgeous color, better than I thought it would be. The flat beater, the wire whip and dough hook are all substantial, perfect for the generous sized 5qt bowl. It has a Powerknead dough hook!! What more do you want!! OK fine- it has a powerful 450 watt motor, a direct drive transmission and 10 mixing speeds this baby can handle some flour! The only thing this beauty can't 'beat' is the price!! Thanks Best Buy!! I'm very happy with her :-))

I have been wanting one of these KitchenAid mixers for a very long time. Thanks to the nearly 50%-off sale that BestBuy was running, I picked one up. The mixer is solid, the color is great, and the convenience these mixers bring to cooking and baking is huge. We haven't even scratched the surface on what this thing can do, nor have we picked up any of the attachments that add even more capabilities. The one drawback, if it can even be called a drawback, is that this model is not the tilt-head type, it is the bowl-lift type. Make sure you read the description before ordering if you are wanting the tilt-head.

This is it. This is the mixer that everyone wants and deserves. Is it a bit pricey? Yes. Is it worth the price? Yes. This mixer is all you will ever need, in whatever size you decide to get. It is strong, and well built. This should be on every kitchen wish list.

This takes cooking to a new dimension! Both hands are free for other preparation while the mixer is doing its thing. Very heavy duty and durable. Love it! Don't know how I ever got by without it.

The disadvantage of taking up counter space is more than compensated by the units performance and durability. I placed the mixer on my portable dishwasher and place a shelf above it to hold the basket full of all the attachments. The basic attachment kit is a must if you like cooking. However heed the warning that the wire whip is not dishwasher safe. I forgot and put it in the dishwasher and the finish came off. Now I remember to hand wash and dry completely to avoid rust.

Got this mixer just before Christmas on sale for half off the MSRP. Ended up being cheaper than the models underneath it. Works great and all of the attachment possibilities are endless. A must have in the kitchen!

WE HAVE WANTED ONE OF THESE FOR YEARS. THE COMBINATION OF COLOR, OLDER MODEL AND A REWARD CERTIFICATE MADE IT AFFORDABLE FOR US AT THIS TIME. WE LOVE IT! NOW WE HAVE TO COLLECT THE MANY ATTACHMENTS. THIS WILL MAKE RETIREMENT GREAT!

I am very happy with my Kitchenaid stand mixer. It is everything I wanted in a stand mixer and I like that it has several different attachments that can be purchased to use with it.

Finally snagged a while one for Mother's Day. Wife loves it. The quality of these mixers cannot be beat.

I returned this mixer. It is too tall and too heavy to be practical. I wanted it to replace my Tilt-head mixer. And I didn't like the handle on the mixing bowl--it has a hard edge, not a nice rounded handle.

I've been wanting one of these since I can remember and I can honestly say that I was not disappointed with this purchase. I've only used it a few times so far, but it is more than worth it and will definitely come in handy in the next month or two when I start doing all my holiday baking.

I am surprised how loud the mixer is. I hear it is because they use all metal parts for the gears
