I have several klipsch reference speakers in my home and I would place this center channel as one of my best investments as part of my surround sound package. This center channel is litterally bigger than my receiver in size. It also more accurately produces clear vocals with crisp clarity that I thought possible in this price range. This speaker provided a clean, tight, and full sound throughout the dynamic range of the speaker. Unlike less expensive center channels, this speaker did not just increase the volume of the sound but provided accurate and deep sound that appeared as though the sound was litterally eminating from behind my flat panel. This speaker does not require a lot of power to drive this awesome speaker due to its high sensitivity rating. However, this speaker can handle high energy input from most every retail receiver available due to the high RMS watt rating. I would recommend this speaker to anyone who had the space for a large center channel and wanted to most accurate recreation of sound possible without spending two to three times the cost of this speaker. The magnetic grill cover for this speaker allows the grill to be removed and replaced effortlessly.

A little background: I bought this to replace a Klipsch C-1-the Synergy Series "lower-level" center channel. Before the C-1 I had a Sony center channel, that was $100 at Best Buy-you'll probably find it on their site. The Sony was a good center speaker, a little weak though, as in, it didn't quite put out the sound I wanted. I moved from it to the C-1 and it was a big jump. The Klipsch C-1 put out more sound and it was much more clear. After a while I figured I would bump up again, to the RC-52, since I have since added surround speakers (temporarily S-1, will be movving up to S-3s), a better woofer (Klipsch Synergy 10"). As far as the RC-52 goes, I am blown away by it. Being that the center channels outpouts the majority of your sound in a home theater setup, whtere it is 5.1, 6.1, or 7.1, I could not be more pleased with the qality, performance and overall output of this speaker. It's clarity is just amazing, it can reach volumes without distortion that my old Sony (and C-1 for that matter) could only dream of. I will have to agree with the other reviewer, this is probably my best investment in my home theater system. Whether you're a first time home-thater novice, or an audiophile, I think you can appreciate the performance of the RC-52, for such a small price tag.

As an owner of both Klipsch Reference and Heritage series speaker, I never cease to marvel at the evolution of the Reference series, and the incredible way Klipsch has developed this series. This center channel adds a depth to the imagery created by the floor standing speakers that has to be heard to be believed. Klipsch has always used the highest quality and produced the most efficient stuff, and this is a prime example, at low volume levels I can hear every nuance, at high levels, well they really do better than anything else. These speakers produce both spatial and tonal quality that is unequaled. From low volume to high, the RF-52's and the RC-52 center channel produce an incredible acoustic environment.

This RC52 center is amazing and since 60-70% of your movie dialogue/soundtrack comes from your center, it is the most important piece in your home theater system. This center channel brings every sound that comes through my system seem lifelike. From Blu-Ray discs to FM Radio, this center channel is UNBELIEVABLE! It is just a monster though.....bigger than my receiver...

This is the best center channel that I have earned. I am slowly converting my speaker setup from polk to Klipsch. The sound quality from this speaker is great. The dialogue from this speaker is second to none. My wife has even notice a significant difference from this center channel. The uncompessed audio from blu-ray and hd-dvd is immense with this speaker.

I've had this center channel for over a year in my home theater and can't complain about anything. The sound is consistent, clear, and plays louder than most people will ever need. My theater is powered by a 130w Yamaha RX-V1700, this efficient speaker can perform with much less ampifier power.
