Bought this for my wife's workout room. Went back to buy another for my office, but were sold out. For the price, this little guy provides a deep, full sound. It's not sufficient to provide quality sound to a large area, but given the price/size of the unit, that should be obvious.

For only $149 this is a fantastic docking station. The clarity and sound quality is fantastic. The only thing it's lacking for sound is a great bass. It's very comparable to a Bose sound system. Some downfalls are it's distorted when cranked up and it's not portable. All in all it's a great docking station.

I'm very happy with this. I even got it on sale! I am impressed with the sound quality for such a small machine. Totally worth it.

Great Sound for the size. Can hear it all over the house. Surprised the entire family. It doesn't have a tone adjustment but you can use your iPod to adjust it.

I shopped for a Bose docking system for my ipod for a long time, but thought is was an expensive item. My kids decided to get me the Klipsch igroove SXT for Christmas. When I opened my gift I was excited to finally have a docking system for my ipod. They said I could take it back and get the Bose if this one didnt work out, but there is no way I would do that after I listened to music on it! It looks great and the sound is even better! I cannot believe you can get this sound for so much less money than the Bose system. I have been recommending the Klipsch system to my friends who are considering the Bose system. I say, "Save the money for your music and get a great system at the same time!"

This ipod/mp3 all in one speaker system brings the noise. the sound quality is superior to systems much more expensive. The all in one aspect makes it easy to set up and you can connect it to your computer system. the remote is also really handy.

The speaker system itself is great. Its easily assembled, and ready to go right out of the box. The speakers produce a nice quality of sound, its loud and crisp. However, the controller is the reason why i bought the system and after one month, it doesn't work.

You can certainly pay more for a speaker system for your iPod or MP3 but this one from legendary speaker maker Klipsch will amaze you. It's not just the Klipsch name on the outside, it's all Klipsch on the inside!!

This system has wonderful sound quality with brilliant highs and solid lows. A remote control makes it easy to use from across the room and easily allows the user basic playback controls. Have been using mine as an alarm clock with my iPhone docked to charge overnight. Really great product. Only one additional function would make it better . . . the ability to switch between playlists on iPods and iPhone.

Sound is great comparing similar priced units. Instant wake turns on the unit on ipod's alarm clock. I use this unit in my bedroom and now I can use my ipod as an alarm clock. Forget buying those cheesy ipod alarm clocks.

This was purchased so I can have music in my workshop. I was frankly astonished at the quality of the sound reproduction throughout the entire audible spectrum given the compact size of this speaker system. It won't fill a large room with music to dance to at a big party, but for nearly any other use, this is a system to seriously consider. Easy set up (just plug it in) and a tiny remote are additional benefits. Klipsch -- one of the premier names in speakers -- has produced a system that can't be beat for the money.

Klipsch always has a great product! The iGroove sounds great, no static! Very much worth the money....the remote is a great added bonus!

First off, I am no audiophile, but, on the other hand, I did a lot of comparison shopping when I bought an MP3 speaker system recently because I really want something with well-balanced sound. I found this Klipsch SXT had surprisingly good bass for such a compact system - very impressive, but the sound in the higher/treble range sounded muffled to me, as if this system was struggling to play the high's or the treble range. I compared this system to the Logitech s715i which at the time of this review is also sold at Best Buy, and I thought the Logitech definitely outperformed the Klipsch, as far as producing more balanced sound, as well as having some other advantages which I will talk about in this review. Also, one frustrating thing I found on this SXT is the iPod dock. Many times I would set my ipod touch into the doc, and I would hear the standard "Pling" that would tell me the ipod had been docked or connected, but when I tried to play the SXT, the iPod had in fact not docked correctly, and I had to either readjust the iPod, or take it off the dock, and then re-dock it again. I found this to be the case over and over again, where it was difficult to get a good connection to the iPod. And, this was after I took off the case off the iPod, and it was still very problematic to dock on the SXT. Also, the dock on the SXT is made flimsy plastic, to the point that when I was docking my ipod (and I was gentle with this) I felt that I had to hold or cradle the SXT dock in one hand, as I was docking the ipod, and all of this made the simple procedure way more difficult than it should have been. In comparison, the Logitech s715i was a breeze to dock my ipod. First off, the dock on the Logitech sits on top of the unit, and is made of much sturdier plastic. Also, it seemed as if every time I plugged in my iPod on the Logitech, it would take on the first try, no problem, and then it was hooked up correctly where I could just enjoy my music. Also, the Logitech's docking mechanism actually can move front to back in a type of hinging movement, which is great if you want to change any settings on your iphone or ipod when it is docked, so that you don't lose connection. This hinging or flexible dock on the Logitech is a great idea, and I wish other manufacturers of these systems would take note of this. The remote on this SXT is great, very easy to use, and had a decent range of 10-15 feet, which is the basic range for remotes in this category. Worked almost every time, when using it across the room. No complaints there. The other issue that I didn't like about this SXT is that right in the middle of the power cord, there's a power brick, which makes unplugging this device and moving it more difficult than other units. Most other units just have the small block adapter right on the plug, which makes them easier to move around. I really liked the styling of the SXT, it is very compact, and has a great look to it. But with all the other issues with it, and comparing it to the Logitech s715i, I returned the Klipsch after just having it a few days, and I am going to keep the Logitech, which seems to be one of the best ipod speakers in this price category. Additionally, one thing I realized while doing some research, if you do have the extra money to spend on these ipod speaker systems, at the time of this review, Best Buy is also selling another system, the Altec Lansing Mix iMT800/810. Yes, the Altec Lansing is in a different price range, but it is so worth it based on the sound quality. From my research, and after reading a lot of reviews on the internet, I would recommend either of these systems. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the Klipsch SXT, and would advise others to pass it by. Hope this helps.

I bought this unit for my iphone and it works great with it. It looks small but dont be deceived by the size because the sound is incredible

Awesome volume (gets really loud)-when loud it is very clear as well. Better then bose and about half the price. Great dock!!!

This is straight out- of- the- box within seconds working for you! The greatest sound and looks so sleek and perfect!

Worth the price! The pros definitely outweigh the cons, and when comparing the price with other i-pod player systems, this system is a bargain.

I did some research and figured I was at the right place with this product. The manufacturer is respected, puts out quality products, and it was ranked pretty highly by other users. I was upgrading from an iHome product. At first I thought it was great but after a month I've noticed that the sound quality isn't what it was cracked up to be (even given that it's under $200). The remote doesn't work consistently; you have to be right up on it which defeats the whole purpose of a remote. And the buttons on the product itself are mushy... you have to "move up and down" with the sound buttons to get to the level you want; when you're turning sound down it either doesn't change at all or suddenly nears mute and the opposite when increasing volume. Overall I'm thinking I'll move it to the guest room and buy something else.

Got this as a present for Christmas. Has really good sound quality and is the perfect fit for counter top.

I own a Bose SoundDock and bought this unit for our vacation home. I think this is equal to the Bose at a better price point.
