I have many subwoofers. Powered 18" 140 Db yorkvilles to small 8" yamahas. If you want great clear bass that shakes a decent sized room, music and movies this is it. Hip hop, electronic, rock, and Blu Rays. If you need serious bass like concerts, consider the 15" or locate a large sub with lots of power. Bass comes from the size of enclosure and the power driven. I did quite a bit of research before buying any speakers much less a sub. A few months ago I purchased 2 Klipsch towers for the front of my media room to replace some old JBL's I had. I needed a sub as I was missing the deep base for movie watching and listening to music. This 12 inch sub seemed like a competitive price and the reviews were solid. I have had the sub for about a month now and could not be happier. Puts out some great base and sounds phenomenal when watching movies and listening to music. Not to mention it looks great and matches my towers.

Just love this subwoofer. I had a Cerwin-Vega 12" sub for 10yrs and was so upset when it died and I didnt think I would ever find one I like, but after reading the reviews for this and then hearing it in person, I can tell you its killer and well worth the price especially given the fact it should last you a good decade!!

Great sub. Adds great depth to the sound. You’ll feel every explosion. Plenty big for the living room or bonus room. Very happy with purchase. Especially during Black Friday.

This Klipsch R12-SW Subwoofer replaced my old one, a Polk PWS110, which went out after 7 years. This new one sounds even better and I guess it should since it's a 12 inch and 400W. Very nice, easy to hook up, and a good price. Was on sale, $100.00 off, from regular price which was attractive but after I hooked it up even regular price would have been good also because it a great subwoofer for the sound and price.

With all the setup options on most mid to high range receivers you can really put this thing through the paces. Tons of adjustable base and couldn't go wrong at half off!

It was a perfect compliment to my system. I have Klipsch mains , surround and center, all made in different decades yet with the addition of this sub it pulls them all together. The ability to adjust the power of this sub will give your system the balance of highs and lows it needs. It will also rattle all the pictures off the wall of your neighbors house!!!!!

I decided it was time to retire my Velodyne sub that I purchased from a certain defunct electronic store. Double the power and the bass is what I wanted. Perfect

400W SW, best bang for your buck, sounds come alive! Anything you through at it, movies or music, it provides that missing piece in your sound system. It simply sounds amazing!

Great addition to my Klipsch speakers! I have this in a small room and the bass is LOUD. I love it but the neighbors don't!

My main speakers are re-worked Bozaks with 12" woofers. Adding this sub woofer adds a dimension I didn't expect at all. It rocks the low lows and fills the room with depth.

I had a 20 y/o 15” Cerwin Vega sub that still worked but was making an annoying humming sound. Saw this sub on sale for 50% off during black Friday and picked one up. I was worried initially dropping down to a 12” from a 15” but this sub definately has much tighter bass and still will rattle the walls just as much. I think the 15” would be just insane and probably overkill. I consider myself a basshead and this sub satisfies my needs very well.

Yes there are better subs out there, but not at this price point. I have did a blind listen with this Sub compared to other higher end, 800-1200 dollar subs. And at normal listen ranges and up to disturbing the neighbors loud. I couldn't tell a difference. That is what sold me, so I bought 2. I'm not a snob but like good sound. I run a Dennon receiver 7.2. Polk high end center channel, Polk Monitor 70s, Klipsch 12 inch SUBS x 2 Klipsch book shelves, and two SVS speakers for my back. Still saving pennies to get SVS front speakers or Klipsch, but Polks high end stuff is pretty good. These 2 12s once you get the dialed in to your other speakers. The sound is incredible, especially 2 of them. I'd rather have 2 of these 12 for under 1000 dollars than one 1000 dollar plus sub. This is some of the cleanest deepest lows I have ever heard at this price point. To truly get the best listening out of these and performance. Get you a good Monster Box that acts as a filter and surge protector. If you have 5 thousand plus in a set up and a cheap'o power strip surge protector. You are asking for trouble. Bite the bullet and buy one that guarantees your stuff to be protected. It really cleans up any humming, protects from brown outs etc. This is by far one of the best subs I have ever purchased in my life.

This sub is a really good addition to the powered speakers I already have from Klipsch. It packs a super good punch, so easy to setup and use.

Nice size, easy to set up. Very rich sound with a ton of punch when you twist the knob. Rattles the shelves clear of anything laying on them.

I have been in the market for a new subwoofer for a year and have been patiently waiting for the rite price on the the rite product! Low and behold black Friday comes around and cuts the price in 1/2 on klipsch products. This sub rocks my home theater setup and adds so much depth and clarity I've been missing! I highly recommend it. It's worth the 550 but if you're lucky to grab it on sale for 227 don't even think about it...!!!

This by far is the best subwoofer I have ever owned the theme has tremendous bass even at low volumes very rich bass although this is my second klispsch items

I enjoy hearing all of a recording's sound, from commercial discs and also from my own computer-generated sound and recordings I create. This bass is great.

If you like bass, this is what you want in your house. Movies come to life, music is reproduced clearly and accurately. Very pleased with this subwoofer.

This is an awesome sub I loved it the bass is deep with both music and movies I would definitely recommend
