If you're in the market for a 12 inch subwoofer around the $400 to $500 range, you can't go wrong with this one. The bass response is pretty accurate for the amount of power it pushes out. And believe me when I tell you, your room will shake, even at only 50%. I use it in a 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos setup and it works great for movies as well as whatever music you're into. Highly recommended.

Great sound, easy to hook up. Highly recommend using high end cords makes the sound clearer.

I ended up getting the 12" subwoofer and boy, am I glad. This speaker has a much richer bass output than my Pioneer 10" subwoofer. You will feel the bass even at low settings and movies are much more enjoyable. This is a quality speaker with a front driving speaker and enough controls to allow you to fine tune it to your system and room.

I initially purchased the 10" Klipsch, but when this went on sale, I returned that and got this one instead. What a huge difference. The bass on this is deeper and stronger. The 10" is a very good sub, but when this went on sale for 50% off, it was a no brainer. Am now waiting for it to go on sale again so I can buy another one. Running 7.1 now, but can't wait to get to 7.2.

This is my second review because after much research I added a second subwoofer of the exact same model. If you want incredibly balanced bass with full room immersion, buy two! I was impressed with my first unit, but was hesitant to buy a second because of the increased floor space and cost requirements. After a few weeks of research on low frequency sound wave characteristics and travel, I took the plunge and will never go single subwoofer again! The people at Klipsch designed these to work great as single units, but they're just amazing when paired with a second unit across the room! The bass is so even and smooth you'll be a believer too! If you go dual subwoofer, remember to turn the subwoofer volumes down because you'll be running double wattage. Also, it's worth it to spend time adjusting your overall speaker balances. At the end of the day it's not about more bass, it's about BETTER bass, and running two of these Klipsch subwoofers knocks it out of the park! Perfect 5 stars!

This subwoofer is a big improvement over my 10" Onkyo. The Klipsch comes in at lower volumes and is more natural sounding throughout all volume levels. The main improvement I was looking for was less distortion at higher volumes and the Klipsch definitely improved on that. I hear more clean bass punch now rather than the previous distorted noise that bothered my ears.

Klipsch products are one of the best made products on the planet. This sub for the price, buy it when it's on sale, will be the only sub you will need. I bought 2 of these for my living room and the sound quality is excellent, very loud and immersive bass. Brings everything you watch to life! Even HGTV! But seriously, watching the game, movies, listening to music, it pounds. Would highly recommend it!

This sub is probably the best edition to my home theatre system. Did away with the Sony 10" sub and had to buy this one once it went on sale for back Friday. What's the point of going to the movie theatre when you have this bad boy! I like to watch a lot of action movies and I like a lot of sound. So if your into that and rattling the windows this is the sub for you!

We're still fine tuning this as the room is a little smaller than it is probably recommended for, but this sub definitely does the job. The sounds is great for music, movies and normal TV. There is a humming sound when the TV is off, but i am assuming this is because the system is still sending a signal - working to resolve this currently. i would highly recommend.

The sound is great in the movie room. It will blow you out the chair.

I originally bought this sub with a pair of R-260-f. My wife and I were watching a tv show and hadn't noticed anything mind blowing. Very clear though. Turned out the show we were watching didn't have any bass. I turned on some music and was blown away. It was extremely clear, but so loud it was rattling every window in my house. I actually had to turn it down because it was starting to give me a headache. Definitely worth every penny.

Great Bass drop! Super impressed with this product. Check it out at Best Buy and get it. It's great sounds as it should good for a medium room. Very pleased with this product. Very nice design. Simple to install, one power plug and one aux plug.

Great sub for the money. I picked this up on black Friday for 50% off. This sub replaced an 8 year old Jumo. My only issue is my wife will not let me turn it up and "really" test it.

Buy it... Plenty of power for most people. Shakes the house.
