I started out with a Samsung 5.1 home audio system. I have been upgrading component by component. Started with tower speakers that are Sony to go along side the Sony entertainment amplifier. I should have waited and purchased all klipsch. This subwoofer is amazing. It really adds the final touch to any home entertainment system.

I bought this on sale for significantly more than the "normal" price today, and am completely happy with it. Unless you're setting up a huge, super legit theater room, this will be plenty. I have a two story condo and this thing sends waves all through it, and I don't even run it hot. Because it's rear ported just make sure you pull it away from the wall at least a foot. (Mine's angled so it gets a foot of space easier.) Visually it's stunning, as are all of the Klipsch with the copper speakers. This will be more than enough until you step up into the $700+ range.

This sub works great connected to my pioneer receiver. The sound is very powerful. I keep turned to only one quarter its potential or everything on the walls shake and rattle like crazy. Sounds good with both music and movies.

I have a medium size house and had doubts as to whether or not I needed two subwoofers or a large 14 inch one. I decided to purchase this one and I have been more than satisfied. I would have loved for Klipsch to make the on/off light stand out more since it can be easy to overlook the small light when it's on.

I just finished my basement with a 180inch movie screen. There was deals on both Bose acoustimass 10 and Klipsch. So I bought both to try them out. I first installed Bose and I was happy, such small speakers and such great sound. Than removed the Bose and hooked up the Klipsch The Klipsch blows the bose away!

I upgraded an older Klipsch sub-woofer that I really enjoyed and just wanted to add a little something extra. THIS IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING EXTRA! If your currently using any kind of smaller cheaper powered sub this will be the best purchase you can make for a home theater. The lows this thing pounds out will annoy nieghbors and clear off your wives knick-knacks from the shelves. Probably both within the first 10 min of using it. It loves the volume. It easily reaches the point where people will ask if you could turn it down. That being said once the glee of its intense sound wears off and your neighbor or wife are questioning your purchase it also sounds amazing at normal levels. Very very good crisp sound at very low notes. It is large in size but its a 12" sub and it performs like a massive sub-box should. Crank up the Michael Bay collection.

I already have several pieces of audio equipment by Klipsch. I started with an 8" Sub, and it definitely did the job!!! I decided I wanted to go bigger, so I bought the 12". Better than I could have imagined!!! I can't say enough about this brand. They really have it together!!! Well worth the money!!!

Excellent subwoofer for the price. Lots of clean, hard hitting bass. I bought it to replace an over 20 year old 10 inch 90 watt powered sub that I blew. My new receiver is really powerful and I blew the old one. I got this one on sale, and I'm glad I did! My home theater never sounded this good!

I had an existing 8 inch Klipsch sub and just wasn't to happy with it's performance. I ended up doing some research and decided on this sub and WOW this was a huge difference. From the moment I plugged it in I could hear and feel the upgrade. Now I can really feel the movies I'm watching.

Bought this to replace a Polk PSW10 that lasted less than 6 months. This sub looks fantastic and sounds even better. After a day adjusting for different sources ( music, TV, movies, video games ) this sub has great sound and is very impressive. Purchased on sale for $350 but would not regret having paid full price.

Very nice subwoofer. sound of the base is awesome especially in the medium size room I have it in.... Size is perfect and not too big..Great buy

I've been a Klipsch fan since I purchased a pair of Forte II's 27 years ago. I added this sub to have a matching pair for my home theater system. They deliver low and loud bass that shake the floor during certain movie sound tracks. The sub works equally good when listening to music.
