Bought this subwoofer, 2x 8” Klipsch floor speakers, 2x Klipsch 6” floor speakers, a Denon Reciever AVR-S930H & 75” Sony HD 4K TV and the entire house shakes, movies are better than the theaters, and I haven’t even turned it all the way up. Definitely buy if you can affford it.

For the front firing sub family, this is a great sub. If you are after a hard hitting punchy sub, I prefer the down firing subs. I have 2 down firing subs and went with this front firing sub to balance me out. It is a very clear sub, no muddy bass in this sub and it sounds great at the bass range I prefer. I will run 60Hz - 80Hz on my down firing subs, I set the front firing at 110Hz, and I have the crossover in my receiver set at 90Hz, some in the 90Hz-110Hz makes its way through, but that is what I am wanting from this front firing sub and not getting into my down firing subs. Its pretty well balanced out and a bit of everything makes its way through. This sub does very well with my 60Hz - 80Hz down firing subs, as far as not too much or too little of the 90Hz 110Hz bass from this front firing sub. I have different settings for different music/movies. For music, my system is built for heavy metal, dub-step, Memphis rap, country; rock sounds good on anything if you can balance kick drum bass and bass guitar with subs and not with woofers that creates bass interference with the sound as a whole. Movies and theater, hands down this sub is a great fit for you. For music, this sub will give you a great range with the exception of not being a very punchy sub, but that is not what it is designed for. For what it is designed for it is fantastic.

I had heard Klipsch products in the past, and wasn't impressed. They have come a long way!! The sales lady said she liked the Klipsch, but I was a little leary. I looked at a comparable Polk speaker, and it just looked cheap, compared with the Klipsch. I decided to try it, and was very impressed!!

Replaced my 10 year old velodyne with this and what a big difference. After setup, I watched John Wick 2, this sub made the tunnel shoot out scene more awesome. I couldn’t stop smiling feeling the omps of every gunshot. Also, got it at 50% off so even more awesome.

This sub is exactly what I need to complete my system. I had to line my kitchen cabinets! When I cranked my music the plates and glasses were vibrating!!! You can literally hear and feel the different low frequencies through the couch and the floor with this unit!!! "Powerfully Amazing!!!"

I upgraded to this sub from a decent sounding 10” Pioneer sub. The Pioneer sub was perfect for our previous apartment, but now that we have a house, I wanted something with more punch to it. This sub did the trick. Movies and TV sound good, music sounds great.

Amazing subwoofer; connected to my DENON amplifier. This is loud and clear, even when only turned up 25%. When I lived in my apartment, I had to turn this off so as not to disturb the neighbors. Best when purchased during Black Friday timeframe for 50% off.

This sub has great power and deep, smooth bass. We have it in a very large room with high ceilings and it has no problem filling it with great bass. Worth the money.

I have been super impressed with the quality of the booming sound that this sub puts out. This addition to our new surround system has taken our movies and music to a new level. Love, love, love Found it on sale ($100 off), but I would have been satisfied at full price!

Don't let the pictures fool you. This thing is huge. And surprisingly long (in a good way). The bass hits hard and goes deep. The growl of synthetic bass is just sublime. And real drums sound so full and heavy. Other subwoofers I've bought don't go this deep, they basically vanish when it comes to low frequencies, but this one shakes the walls with the low frequency notes. It can destroy your windows if you are not careful. It can compliment your music and movies, or it can overpower everything with a boom, the choice is yours. I have it a on the just a tad louder side and it is wonderful.

If you are looking for a lot of room shaking bass then this Klipsch 12 inch subwoofer is the speaker for you. My current HT system with a 10 inch subwoofer was an adequate performer, but when the 12 inch Klipsch went on sale for 1/2 off at Best Buy on Black Friday, i had to get it! This sub really delivers on the low freqs and the 400W built-in amp has plenty of drive to give you a lot of bass, even in large, carpeted rooms that tend to absorb/attenuate the low freqs.

If you're looking to add some serious bass to your system, then this is what you need. I bought one for 50% off last Black Friday and added a 2nd one this year. My wife thinks I'm regressing back into my 20's as the pictures shake on the walls.. LOL

I have this placed in my loft in a house that has an open floor plan, and still I have to operate at 25% peak... this thing rocks !!

I purchased 2 of these powered subwoofers after doing a lot of research along with the great reviews they received. Love that you can control the gain and they really complete a surround sound system! Very happy with my purchase!

Having had great performance with Klipsch speakers historically I purchased this sub and was not disappointed. For the difference in price it was worthwhile to buy the bigger of the two.

This is a great sub woofer! It produces great lows and clean sound. The price was exceptional. hookup was a breeze. It looks great in my home. I am completed satisfied with my product, but shipping could have been faster.

This is one of the top of the line subwoofers that lives up to its legacy, it’s produces quality sound while not being too overwhelming when it hits the highs and lows. Perfectly balanced all around excellent subwoofer!

I needed to replace my polk audio 12" subwoofer an what better way with better quality klipsch subwoofers... That's right I bought 2 on black Friday for the price of 1. What a great deal, very pleased with my purchase!

This is my first subwoofer from Klipsch. It adds depth to the sound making a movie a lot more enjoyable! The sound is full and concise. I haven't tried it out with music yet, but imagine it will perform well there too.
