Rounds out my 7.1 system perfectly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 4 of these speakers in my bonus room that is 21*21. They are set as my rear speakers in a 7.1 system. I have a Yamaha RX-A750 receiver, with Klipsch Reference RC-62-II Center speaker, Klipsch Reference RF-62 II front speakers, Klipsch Reference R-12SW Subwoofer, and four of these Reference 5-1/4 Bookshelf Speakers on the rear. I originally had my old speakers on the rear and they were getting overpowered by a lot by the Klipsch front speakers. I could barely hear them at all. So I bought four of the 5-1/4 shelf speakers. They pair perfectly with the rest of the Klipsch speakers. I have them mounted on 30" Sanus speaker stands which really allows the sound to travel through the room. I've had friends and family over and their reaction is usually just WOW! Klipsch just so perfectly brings the treble, bass, and the mids to life. Music is just so powerful. Movies are surreal. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone wanting to round out their 5.1 or 7.1 system. Just on their own they would be very excellent speakers.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the speakers a couple of months ago,at first i wasn't too sure about them, they sounded good but not THAT good, then i read where you have to break speakers in...keeping that in mind as time went on the sound got better and better...my next purchase will be a Klipsch center speaker and another sub. Great products!!

good speakers when using a big subwoofer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These speakers are pretty good but they are very treble heavy and when not configured right, on their own, can give you listening fatigue. These speakers need to be pared with a good powerful subwoofer that can balance the harsh loud tweeter sounds. The ideal setup of these speakers is a 5.2 setup where you have these as the rear surround speakers, have the matching tower speakers for front left and right, and the matching center channel with two 10 or 12 inch subwoofers.. that setup will really give them good overall performance. Alternatively you can look into brands like Polk or Definitive Technology.

Small but Mighty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I searched hard looking for these speakers knowing I had very limited space in a tiny Studio Apartment. The size was just perfect. They aren't the smallest or cheapest bookshelves you can buy, but BOY do they sound AMAZING. Bright, crisp, clear, Articulate and plenty of balanced sound for my space. I see these working well also in a small bedroom, or home office as well. One might be forgiven to that there's not enough Bass due to their modest size, however, I've been very please with the Accuracy of their articulate detailed sound. The quality of music played from a good source is simple astounding! In fact, I loved them so much, I went back and bought a second pair. The Klipsch value vs. cost is up front second to none. Eventually, Ill find a way to utilize them in a small, modest home Theatre with the R-25C center and the new, small R-8SW sub for movies. The TV will get hung up on the wall, but I'm sure I'll be very pleased.

A pleasant surprise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went searching for a new set of "front speakers" for a modest Home Theater setup. The Klipsch 5 1/4 Reference Speakers have exceeded my expectations. I'll replace the remaining speakers with similar Klipsch speakers as time and dollars permit.

Great speakers.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like these speakers. They sound great for their size and for their price. I bought them at a discount price. I would not buy them at their full price. They do not have a good bass, but I have a 12'" sub for this. The highs and mediums are great.

Klipsch r15m
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great speakers for my home theater system. Bought 8 total for two different rooms, 4 in each room. Awesome sound in either room. One room with onkyo receiver. Other room has yamaha receiver. Both rooms have center channel speakers and subwoofers. Great for movies, TV shows, and vinyl. These replaced bose 301 series V speakers in both rooms. Better sound dispersion and louder at the same volume setting than the bose. I am a long time klipsch owner. Bought a pair of the klipsch forte 2 floor standing speakers about thirty years ago, and still use them in my garage system. Klipsch speakers sound awesome and are a great value, especially when they are on sale at Best Buy.

Big sound from small speaker!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite their small size, these speakers deliver a nice, balanced full-range of sound. Predictably, the only thing missing is deep bass. That was remedied with the addition of a Klipsch powered subwoofer. I'm using these speakers in a 550 sq foot room with 14' ceiling. With the subwoofer, and a 50w/channel receiver the total sound package is very satisfying with music from classical to progressive metal!
