I had a 10" Klipsch sub but I just upgraded my AV to Onkyo's RZ 50 and my first amp running my Klipsch towers and I read sub reviews for a week and I was pulled to the new 10 and holly crap was it the icing on the cake. I couldn't be happier because I don't need my neighbors house to shake that's why I like the 10's but it has to punch your chest crisp and clean and it does just that.

The item your tech tried to install is faulty and you have not been able to find a replacement for the last two months. It seems Klipsch has it on backorder. If you ever get another, I will review it again.
