Sound is good worth the money for these good speakers

Such a great addition to my system. Has great sound quality. Sadly, just not exactly what I am looking for from my system. That's not to say anything negative about the actual quality of this speaker. That is a personal observation and buyer-specific to my choice. Simply a preference on my part. I could use them and still have a first quality experience and never miss a beat. It most definitely is a great speaker. The price was on point at a 50% sale. I wasn't finished paying for my previous floor speakers when these went on sale. Klipsch sale speakers have a reputation and sometimes are hard to get when on sale. They do sell out fast. So I went ahead and grabbed them while I could. It does what it's supposed to do. It's attractive and blends well with my existing system. Has the quality one would expect from Klipsch. For the short time, I have had them I'm going to upgrade to the RP-500SA. Only because I want that little extra oomph from the slightly larger speaker. If you are looking for Atmos speakers this could serve your system very well. I am just an average Joe. Not by any stretch a tech whiz. Kinda like the guy next door type. I do know enough to tell what might be missing in the sound I'm after. I just know these speakers are giving me exactly what I want from my system. For too many years I had to take the lower quality systems simply because I couldn't afford anything better. Now, I started watching the sales offerings. I know what this system costs when they aren't on sale. I kept an eye out for the "open Box" offers and over the course of a few months was able to assemble just what I want. Don't be deterred by the open box offers. Best Buy stands 100% behind their open box. If you find yourself unhappy with your choice they will gladly accept it back. You buy a box that hasn't been opened and you will remove it from the carton anyway when you get it home. So don't let a box determine if you have a good system or not. The box has no sound quality at all. The item inside is first-rate and comes with the same manufacturers' warranty. Imperfections however slight are clearly stated. Rarely any obvious difference in the quality. I do buy an open box item when I can. For me, being on a budget, it translates into savings. That said when you can save $50 - $100 or sometimes more on one speaker that savings can put you into another speaker you may not be ordinarily able to afford on the same budget. I hope this helps those of you like me. They are budget confined yet want something a little better than what they previously had. As for recommending this set of Klipsch Atmos speakers, I give them 100% thumbs up. I don't think you can go wrong with them.

These speakers i have sitting on top of my rear surround sound making my system 5.1.4, they do an excellent job! Keep in mind when using as directional and mounting on wall/ceiling that ceiling should be flat and not vaulted for best performance.

Finally upgraded my surround system to Atmos and these speakers were the final pieces of the puzzle. I up-fires these towards the ceiling and it changed everything. Now with movies with an Atmos track you can hear the environmental effects. Raining in a forest? You can hear the rai falling from above. Passing aircraft approach from behind, fly over your head and then appear on screen to exit stage right. These speakers reproduce those overhead sounds flawlessly. Whether its high frequency sounds or deep bass for impacts, the speakers repoduce these sounds flawlessly when activated. These are perfect for smaller rooms because of their size and works well with simple Atmos setups (I’m only running a 5.1.2 Setup) But I dont doubt these speakers could handle a larger room with a more complex setup. These speakers can really perform. Highly recommended.

This an awesome ATMOS speaker, its crisp and really breaks sound into little details which brings you to a the environment of the movie you're watching or the music you're listening. This is the speaker I have been looking for!

I added these to my high end Definitive speakers and Dolby Atmos A/V receiver. Wonderful sound and clarity from the Klipsch Reference Series Height speakers. I now have full spatial sound throughout the room for a great movie experience.

Well worth it. I currently have the Bose 5.1 Surround sound set up. A Sony 7.2 receiver. Thease speakers gave my sys exactly what it was missing. A fuller sound.

I bought this as an addition to two front front speakers, also by Klipsch. I'm setting up a system slowly overtime. I dont have a center speaker or a subwoofer, although the current set up is more than sufficient. I will be getting a center speak at some point, but the bass is more than enough already. As far as the Dolby atmos speakers I positioned them on top of the front speakers, calibrated them accordingly with the amp, and they are amazing. Especially with newer movies designed with a much better sound. You will still get an extra depth with older movies but with newer movies is where it really shines. I got this on 50% off which was a great bargain as far as im concerned. Fine addition

These have a pretty good sound for height speakers, used in my dolby atmos set up. I got them open box for next to nothing. They are well worth what i paid, but wouldn't be able to justify paying full price for them.

Excellent all around turn it up and enjoy the sound quality, build quality and depth.

My husband loves these speakers. I bought them for him as a gift and he just loves them. Great quality!
