Klipsch has always been a top tier brand, and it's awesome that Best Buy carries them on hand. The service was great as always, and I never have any issues at our local store.

I live in an apartment with some pretty cool neighbors that never complain. I hope these speakers don't change this. I'm fairly new at real home theater and have been using various soundbars for the last several years. It's actually been many years since I set up a receiver with real speakers. These speakers sound fantastic at any volume. The whole system I'm using now are Klipsch speakers with an Onkyo TX-NR686 Atmos receiver. I'm currently running it at 5.1.2 The width and height of these speakers is perfect for my living room. Not overwhelming in size at all and they are absolutely beautiful with the covers on or off but specifically with them off to show off the copper speakers.

I purchased two of these towers as part of a full 5.1 home theater makeover. All the speakers, including the sub, are Klipsch Reference series. For reference I coupled these R620F towers with the R34c center channel, and two R-51M bookshelf as the surround/rear speakers. The subwoofer was the R120SW. They are all connected currently in a 7.2 Denon receiver on 14 gauge wire. I plan to maybe expand to a 7.1 system in the future. Back to the R620F Towers. I have been nothing short of impressed with their performance. I done my research before this big investment, and considered other brands. I compared them hard against the Polk Audio signature series system, which is comparatively priced. My goal in this was to get a solid sounding system but to do so at around $1500 total investment, so that was my rough budget. After lots of research online, I went in the store to listen to them both in person. Both systems sounded good, and I wouldn't say either was just over the top better than the other. So why did I go with Klipsch? I just liked the way they looked, the construction, and I love their product model structure for their speaker systems. These things are just gorgeous to look at and look fantastic in my home. Once I got them home and got everything hooked up, I done extensive testing and calibrating. I am a perfectionist so I have invested a lot of time in this project to make sure every element was as good as I could make it. Its hard to talk about the specifics of the sound they produce because it will vary some based on your receiver. I had read however that some people hated the Klipsch horn style tweeters. The common complaint was that it would "make your ears bleed". I have never felt this in my testing with these speakers. With my 7.2 denon receiver I would describe the sound as tight. They sound strong even at higher volumes with some demanding music. They even give a good rumble of bass in the 40-80hz range. The tweeter is also very strong. The speakers have a great balance between low and high frequency and neither I felt overpowered the other. A great, balanced tower I would say. To the first timers who my read this, make sure you set your crossover on these at 40hz. Do not set them as full range towers. Their low end frequency response is 38hz, and despite how good they are, we are only dealing with 6 1/2" woofers here. If I set these to full range in my set up, I lose a lot of bass in my system, as the receiver sends more low frequency sound to the mains, and away from the subwoofer. This was the case on both an Onkyo 7.2 reciever (which died in 5 days and had to be replaced by the denon) and the Denon 7.2 receiver I am using now. 40hz crossover is the sweet spot for these. They sound fantastic when you put all the pieces together. Ive not had any complaints at all with these, and I got them on sale for 179.99 each, and at that price I just dont know how you beat this quality. One final shoutout to bestbuy for being so accommodating. The store I got these from only had one in stock (apparently this is common, to only have one tower of each in stock from talking to the employees) but they had the 2nd tower overnight shipped to my house at no additional charge. That is a 50 pound package overnighted for free via UPS. That may be standard for them but I was just a little impressed. I just felt that they wanted to make sure I got the final piece of my system as fast as possible. I took the rest of the full system home with me that evening, as it was all in stock in the store.

So I actually own these and the higher end model of these (with 8inch woofers.) These are simply amazing and are just as good as the more expensive model. I wish I had of known that but I had to spend money to figure that out. The bass in these speakers is amazing and you DONT NEED A SUBWOOFER. Now if you do use a subwoofer then obviously it will help even more but it’s not needed. They aren’t very heavy either which would make you think they won’t be loud but that’s not the case at all. And the other nice benefit is they don’t need a ton of power from an amp. I have these hooked up to a 50 watts per channel tube amp and they hit soooo hard. I would highly recommend these.

The Klipsch R620F reference II Floor standing speakers are a great addition to my home theater setup. First off build quality is premium on these floor standing speakers from the finish to the signature copper speakers to the copper colored screws. They look really good, they sound even better. I have these hooked up to several other Klipsch speakers and they do not disappoint. I also love the magnetic speaker grills which come off and attach effortlessly.

My first real foray into the higher quality speaker realm and now I’m ruined! I can never return to speakers for peasants! These replaced some old KEF fivetwo model 11 speakers in my home theatre system that were sounding really tinny. They ticked two boxes that are very important to me in a speaker, they must sound amazing and be somewhat reasonably priced (on sale). These woke up my lackluster home theater system! I thought I was going to have to replace all of the components, receiver and all but it turns out I was never tapping the potential of the receiver until I got these speakers. I purchased the 12” sub as well and I plan on getting a nice 6”+ center channel and a couple satellites as I find them on sale. I highly recommend if you want to add depth to your HT. The black wood veneer is beautiful as well and the copper subs are beautiful to me. I’m very happy with these

I consider myself something of an audiophile, but I can’t afford to buy the best so often I have to settle. I thought that’s what I was doing when I purchased a pair of these speakers, but I was very mistaken. My eyes almost popped out of my head when I first heard them at my house. They sounded even better than they did at the store. Granted, I’m driving them with an aging $2,000 Sony receiver, so there’s that. They have a surprising amount of bass for 6 1/2” speakers, but I didn’t want to drive them too hard, so I purchased a 400 watt subwoofer to compliment them. Now they sound even better at a lower volume. A friend of mine has a pair of speakers that cost him 39 times more than mine, each, and I’ll bet mine sound almost as good as his do, His can probably get 25% louder and they have a 4’ tall ribbon tweeter that is very hard to beat, but I am extremely impressed and finally satisfied with the speakers I have now. As soon as they go on sale I’m going to buy two more...just to offend my neighbors!

I bought a new Onkyo receiver, Sony TV, and an Ultra 4K Blueray player, and added them to my existing Klipsch Center channel and Subwoofer. With clips from the latest Jurassic Park and Marvel superhero flick I felt what I'd been hoping for, excitement from every corner of the room. And when I put on some music, well, lets just say I fell in LOve again....... It's all that, and a bag of chips.

These Klipsch reference series speakers have great sound! Sound quality has deep bass and clear highs. The speaker cabinets are solidly built and the horn is very robust. I can play my music at high volume with no distortion. The speakers look great in black and fit perfectly with my other sound equipment. In highly recommend.

The production of sound from these speakers is absolutely breathetaking! Very tight bass response and vocals and highs are reproduced beautifully. The horn loaded tweeter creates a wide soundspace. The speakers are also very efficient, requiring less energy to reproduce more sound. I Highly recommend for sound enthusiasts.

I love Klipsch, so I scrutinize heavily to call myself loyal. These replaced a similar but older pair of Boston Acoustic speakers. I usually buy my Klipsch items on sale as they do offer good deals a few times a year. Picked these up on sale and love the upgrade. Look and sound is spectacular. Plenty loud enough too. Hooked up to a new Denon audio/video amp. Matching center and sub complement well. Next upgrade is surround speakers.

Sounded great compared to my older HTIB. Very loud and clear. Only complaint was the cheep plastic feet. These speakers are a little heavy and awkward to move. You have to bear hug them. If you try and slide them on carpet the screw(s) will break off that hold the feet. Lift to move and they are fine

I was trying to find floor standing speakers without breaking the bank. I tried the Polk T50 speakers. Sounded good but was lacking the balance and warmth of music. The cabinets looked a little cheap. Bestbuy was nice enough to let me return the Polls and I decided to get the Klipsch R620F. The weigh about twice as much as the Folks and they sound great!! Definitely a upgrade. Very clear highs and lows. Handles everything my Onkyo can throw at it. Very nice speakers for under $1k.
