Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the exceptional sound quality, particularly the impressive bass response, of the Reference Series Dual 8" speakers. Many also praise the speakers' power handling capabilities and value for the price. However, some customers note that the speakers are large and heavy, and a few have expressed concerns about the durability of the feet. Overall, the positive feedback on sound quality outweighs the negative comments regarding size and weight.

I bought these awhile back ago. I forgot to leave a review. But these babies will shake your house. I used to have klipsch years ago, and didnt think it could get any better. Boy was i wrong. I got these on a sale i dont think ill ever see again. $249 a piece. Dont second guess it. Just click buy! You wont be disappointed. My girlfriend does not like surround sound, and she loves this system i picked up. I completed my speakers with rears and dolby atmos. I can go on and on about these. Klipsch is hands down the greatest ever! Thats my review. Have a wonderful day

First and foremost, the sound quality is what is come to be expected from Klipsch. That's the most important part. Secondly, I went from having the basic reference speaker setup with a center and four bookshelf speakers and an SPL 12" sub (Amazing sub btw). I add two of these puppies to create a 7.1 system. Here's the problem- I think my receiver is just not powerful enough to really get these things moving. I think it puts out 110W per channel- definitely not close to the 600W rating on these. Need to upgrade my amplification to really unleash them, but nonetheless I'm very happy with how well they sound.

Had JBL Northridge 38 ii Setup for years.. they sounded great. But these Speakers matched with the r-34c and Bookshelf speakers have enhanced the sound quality. we are hearing more than we did before.. YOU HAVE TO BREAK THESE SPEAKERS IN. i put a hundred hours of movies and music through them and you could hear the sound change.. Now everything is just Beautiful, we can hear some extra background noises on Movies we have seen many times.. Highs are great, has good mids and even the Lows are decent enough. tested the lows without a sub and in 2 channel only..

Great sounds. Easy to setup. They are bigger than expected so pay attention to the depth and height.

Got them black friday special. Look and sound great. Love the copper look. I would reccomend them for anyone looking at the entry klopsch speakers. Even though they are not the rp and just reference they still sound great. Just make sure you buy a strong enough amp to power them. Or have a strong enough reciever as they do have a high rms rating. You want to make sure you get all of the sound that these monsters can produce. Otherwise you are better off buying smaller bookshelf speakers.

These klipsch speakers are pretty solid. They have a nice overall sound quality and are easy to set up. I’ve had my speakers for a few months now and love to listen to a variety of music throughout the day and the Klipsch Reference Series sound fantastic with a good stereo and slight tuning to match your preferred tastes.

Got these during the pandemic promotion sale. Great price and a stellar look when you take the dust covers off. Broke them in below 70% volume for 2 months and then they started waking up at the upper volumes. They produce extremely clean highs with no distortion. Now that the woofers are broken in they reproduce full, rich clean sound. Happy customer and will likely get another set in the premier line.

Am almost at a week with a pair of these speakers and they sound better by the day with break-in. They look fantastic and are very well put together. While the aesthetics and build quality are strong, the bottom line is, speakers need to sound great - right? Right. And these definitely do. I replaced a pair of big, Cerwin Vega Re38s I've had for many years. I loved those speakers, but the Klipsch replacements are much more accurate and do a better job of separating sounds. I am definitely hearing things from my records I'd never heard before. The reason? Klipsch R-820Fs. I'm suing the same Onkyo TX-NR636 receiver and the speakers have made the system sound even better. I also decided to add a Klipsch RC-62 II center channel and the sound is that much better. Don't get me wrong - the R-820Fs do a fine job as standalone speakers - especially for music. But if you also watch a lot of movies the addition of a center channel will improve the soundstage and make the dialogue more clear. Very, VERY happy with my purchase.

Amazingly clear sound, absolutely no distortion. The speakers are large so you may want to keep that in mind if the room you'll be using them in is small. We have them in our living room which is small-medium sized, and they almost look out of place because they are so large. But the sound quality is worth it. Overall we would buy them again.

I was price watching these on BB all of 2019 and when they went on sale for $249 Black Friday I bought a pair. I purchased the Klipsch subwoofer also half off. I have been listening to records for almost 2 months and they sound great. The bass is awesome and I almost didn’t even need the subwoofer. They are used only for music but I can see these working in a home theater setup.

I bought a pair of these speakers and although I will say they are a little big, because our living room isn't the biggest, but it really doesn't matter. The sound quality makes it so worth it. My kids love watching movies now because we can put on the sound system and our kids never move.

Klipsch Dual-8" Woofer Towers Make It Happen!

Klipsch makes it happen with their Dual-8" woofer tower speakers! Amazing, full-bodied sound with crisp high end and super solid lows. Then, I paired with the Klipsch 12", 400-watt subwoofer and the house resounds with waves of powerful music. Even without the subwoofer, these towers get the job done very well!

I have watched these go on killer sale for at least three Black Friday’s and finally pulled the trigger this year. I knew these guys would rock the heavy stuff, but was very surprised to hear how accurate and rich they sound with acoustic and vocals. I honestly bought them primarily for their high output but listen to them for everything now. For the price, unbeatable!

These speakers have literally blown me away. I have never heard music so loud and clean and crisp at the same time. I connected to the Yamaha RTX A880 and I'm pretty sure I could bust my windows out with AC/DC. Running them with dual Klipsch 12" subs. And then look at 'em. Beautiful. You will not regret this purchase.

These speakers are the truth. Very powerful, crystal clear, defined sound between highs, mids, and bass. Bass is so clean it sounds like you have a sub. I have the playing thru and Denon s740r and I absolutely love them. You can't go wrong with these speakers. Nothing negative at all to say about them.

I found the Klipsch speakers to have a solid bass and bright clear high end. The speakers needed to be played for a couple of days to wear in and sound their smoothest. They are a great value. They are larger than most tower speakers but the cabinet volume gives more resonance to the sound.
