My old outdoor speakers were JBL’s, I was skeptical buying a speaker without hearing how it sounded. This speaker not only looks & sounds great, but the bass is much more present than my old speakers. Great outdoor sound, would highly recommend. My prog rock: Yes, Genesis, Rush, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, and the shedders: Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Van Halen, all sound great outside. Page, Plant, Jones, & Bonham fill my yard with the best Zeppelin sounds like no other neighbor for miles around. Worth every $$$, should be more money for this sound. Enjoy the music.

I needed some speakers to project out towards my yard. These speakers were just what I needed. They are well built and really easy to install. The most important part is, they sound great.

That speakers were installed with a Bose SA-5 amplifier and have a great sound. Very clear.

Great Quality at an affordable price. I installed them in my patio, clear crisp sound.

Installed last year on covered patio. They look great but sound terrible. They distort with any base .

I have purchased this brand for inside my home and was very pleased with them. I seen the outdoor speakers on sale and after reading reviews I bought a pair for around my pool. I spray painted them brown to match my decor and they turned out nice. They mounted easily and the mount bracket and knobs make it easy for me to adjust to my liking. They sound great. I can really crank them up. They can handle the bass very well and the highs and mid range are clear and crisp. I do not however have them connected to an amp (yet). I'm more than likely going to buy a second pair when they go on sale again. Winter weather will be the test of time although they are under my patio covers fascia so I don't expect an issue with them. They are made well.

Already had a pair of Klipsch AW650's in the lanai and wanted something smaller under the soffit facing the pool. These KHO-7's fit the bill perfectly. Both sets of speakers are powered by Sonos Connect Amps. The only hitch is that the KHO-7's seem to need a little more power to achieve the same level of loudness.

Easy to install and sturdy. We needed speakers that could stand up to the elements on the Texas coast. I guess time will tell on the factors other than sound. But the sound from the units is good. Will most likely buy 2 more for second level of house.

We recently built a extensive open cover over a patio, 18' x 36', adjacent to our deck. It would have seemed incomplete without adding speakers, tied to our in home system. Once the decision was made I started the search for speakers, indoor/outdoor, of sufficient quality that my neighbors would not be subjected to harsh music from our yard. These Klipsch speakers stood out to us as far superior to anything else in the under $400 price range. In fact, we found them at Best Buy for $199.00 a pair, cheaper than E-Bay or Amazon. Even our construction guys said they were the best sounding speakers they'd seen in several projects they had been a part of. The finish is of good quality, although if you are installing them near a salt water beach they have been reported to have the grill rust away in a couple of years. Otherwise, they have good highs and midrange, and the lows can be heard as part of the music. Don't count on them to sound like you have subs, or you'll be disappointed. For the $200 we spent I don't think we could have picked a better speaker for our application.

The Klipsch were easily the best sounding outdoor speakers I have heard. Smooth, balanced sound, and true weatherproof construction. We've covered ours with a bit of camouflage netting so the blend in with our patio garden.

These sound fantastic. Extremely loud if you want them to be. My backyard neighbor is 250 feet behind my house, I can sit on his patio and hear the music perfectly at only moderate volumes.

With stand different weather conditions. Color blends in with most houses. Packs a punch with sound quality.

Bought these for outside. Had geedk squad install these along with a Sonos Amp. It sounds great and is plenty loud.

Wow! The sound is fantastic! Using them around my pool and visitors have raved about the quality of the sound. Not much volume required to fill my acre size backyard.

Sound good, look good , play loud enough to tick-off the neighbors . Would not let me use the Klipsch term for ticked.

I run sound and have plenty of experience in speaker placement, eq, etc. I own plenty of sound equipment, but my outside patio by the hot tub never got what it deserved until I bought these. For the longest, I was running the Dual brand outdoor speakers with a cheap amp. I added a powered Polk sub under my patio to assist with bass. I had to add a eq to the setup, because the duals had missing frequencies when I ran pink noise through them and a calibrated microphone. I changed the cheap amp to a Sony high powered one. Sound got a little better, but was still lacking. I finally bought these speakers. Holy cow. Game changer. The clarity and speaker imaging from the horns make me think about using these in my home theater! I cannot comment on the low end as the Polk sub takes care of that. I highly recommend a sub if bass is important. But the mods and highs are killer on these. Specs don’t tell the whole story.

Took a while to find the right ones but theses speakers are the bomb! Compared to Bose for price and sound ,"awesome"! I placed these outside on 12X12 pool deck and recommended to be placed at ear level. So did that as if you are in the pool at all times, I live in Ky , these speakers have been through hail, extreme heat , rain and are in direct sunlight practicly all day since May of this year. Will remove for the winter months. But still produce awesome sound. Recover is about 95 ft away and installed in conduit from deck to basement! Another fine product by Klipsch!!!

I've been to several stores listening to at least 15 sets of outdoor speakers. These Klipsch are by far the best sounding. Less expensive than Bose and sound 10x better. Wish they had the same sleek design Bose has but I guess that's where the sound quality comes from.

Really efficient performance. Sounds great at low or high volume. Super easy to mount. Highly recommended.
