    Total GARBAGE!

After losing my iPhone earbuds, i wanted to finally upgrade to a higher quality pair. I first purchased the Bose SoundTrue earbuds based off the recommendation of one of the so called experts in the store and also because I've never heard anything negative about Bose. They sounded good but the inline remote is not compatible with iPhone 6 so i wanted to return them for a different pair. When i was browsing for another pair, another so called expert recommended the Klipsch brand. Said these would blow the socks off of Bose. After all, you are mostly just paying for the Bose name. Well...the Klipsch x4i model is the biggest piece of garbage I've listened to. If you like mono AM radio, these are the headphones for you. NO bass, little treble, a lot of flat garbage. I couldn't even make it through 1 song on these things. Buy any cheap $20 headphones and you will be better off! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THESE! Also, don't make the same mistake I made by assuming the employee's in the store have any idea what they are talking about! Do your own research.

I've owned Klipsch headphones and earbuds in the past and have always loved them. These earbuds are by far the best I've had and totally worth the price tag. They are comfortable and easy to wear. The cords are flat which makes them untangle easily and the holding clip which you can attach to your clothes is nice because you don't have to worry about getting caught on something while moving around. The sound is what I expect, clear with no distortion, even at higher volume. The mids are detailed, the highs are crisp and not painfully bright, and the bass is deep and has the right amount of punch without being too woofy. Highly recommended.

Great Sound Quality, Cables Could Be More Durable

My son and I have both enjoyed these headphones for a while now. We are both on our second pair. Sound quality from the earbuds is exceptional. That said, after 9 months or so, we find the cables fail internally. They tend to crack or fray (our guess because there is no visible defect), and using them for calls at that point is impossible to do in any reliable way. We bought them again as the best sounds quality option in their price class, but also purchased the $20, 2-year insurance on the product. I never buy insurance on tech products but in this case, the cables made me do it. Get that fixed Klipsch! you have the speakers figured out. That's the hard part! Get the darn cables right! -MTF

    Are these buds for you?

Sound is so subjective it's difficult to get a good review worth reading. So let me just say they are very comfortable and don't fall out my ear while active. The Apple ear buds that came with my iPhone fell out just sitting at my desk. I also have a set of Bose ear buds but they don't have the built-in microphone or device controls. The Klipsch sound better than the Bose in my opinion for around the same price point. I didn't buy them for the noise cancelling so I was surprised on how well they worked.

A pleasant change from most bass-oriented models

I purchased the x4i thinking it had the same characteristics as Klipsch's older Image model, with great sound throughout the frequency spectrum and particular attention to the lower range for a great bass output. I was wrong but I wasn't disappointed! The x4i is, as many reviews have covered already, flatter on the bass than most other earphones on the market. However, for prolonged music listening and more accurate sounds, the x4i truly are perfect as they don't tire your ears as easily and they truly have a great output range!

I had been searching for good workout earbuds when I came across this gem. Several reviews online had pointed out that, like beats, the Bose brand of audio equipment relied largely on name to sell product and letting quality slip. Klipsch puts out quality goods, and this is no exception. Better sound than Beats by a large margin, and even a bit better than Bose of the same price point for less (around $10 cheaper when I bought them). The singular complaint I have is that they tend to want to slip out during a workout or excessive movement.

I'm a huge Klipsch fan from the early 1980s. I own Klipsch speakers, my brother owns Klipsch, and I have convinced numerous others to purchase Klipsch speakers. I have never been more disappointed in a pair of headphones than I was after purchasing the X4i. The X4i have the sound of an old bad transistor radio, no bass or mid range and most of all just bad sound. I owned BOSE headphones for 10 years, I will be purchasing a new set of BOSE upon the return of the X4i.

    Dissapointment

When you think Klipsch you think big, vibrant, bold, theater sound. I came across these and figured I pick them up given the above. Sadly I could not be more disappointed. Out the box; low frequency response is lacking, mids are flat and highs a tingy. Believe or not, my cheap JVC's have better range. Tried all supplied ear cups for the best seal, no change in sound quality. Taking them back today. Definitely, not worth the price tag.

I own a set of Klipsch speakers which are awesome so I decided to pony up for the earbuds. They are expensive but well worth the cost. I've used them in a stadium, at a concert and on the beach. People have no problem hearing me and they completely drowned out any background noise that other earbuds wouldn't have. If you can afford them, get them! You'll be glad you did.

The Klipsch reference X4i is a fantastic in ear monitor for the more mature listener, as it is very sparkly in the high and mid ranges. The lows, however, are lacking. This sound signature makes this in ear monitor great for vocals and classical music, but disappointing for other genres like EDM, Hip Hop/rap, and other genres that require some attention in the low range.

Have been using the Bose earbuds for quite a while, but wanted something with more noise cancelling abilities. The sound quality of these compared to the Bose was very disappointing. They were very 'tinny' by comparison. Additionally, the ear buds would simply fall out of my ears while i was sitting at my desk. I will be returning them for credit for my next pair of Bose headgear.

    Great sound... Blow out fast

I chose these headphones because they seemed like great headphones for listening to rock/heavy metal and they were. They sound amazing and have great tone. The main downfall is my pairs kept blowing out. I went through about 3 pairs using the warranty and finally just gave up on them. Overall good sound, just blow out very fast despite not turning my music up very loud.

I was hesitant about buying these because of the price but they were recommended to me by someone who has tried every kind. The sound quality matches the best bose headphones you can buy and there is no outside noise. By far the best headphones and the price is well worth the quality!

I have to see these are the best earbuds I've had the privilege to listen to much less own. Nice that they have multiple size replacement tips to help isolate outside noise. They get 4-stars because they are iOS only and their controls aren't Android friendly.

Audio quality is okay for music but when trying to use these for gaming the mic did not work. The mic looks like it will only work for Apple products. I would think in this day and age that products can be made for all types of media and functions.

After exchanging 3 other headphones that broke (under extended warranty) these have sounded the clearest and most comfortable. This headphone has endured going from backpack to car for almost 6 months now and they still look great and sound great.

I've gone through so many ear buds that after lots of use give me bruises and fatigue in my ears. These however are PERFECT! They really got the fit right. The sound is fully isolated, yet it feels like there's nothing in my ears!

Love these earphones, got them as a gift and they are so comfortable. Love that either of the earbuds can fit into each of the ears (No R, No L) and the sound quality is great. I would definitely recommend these

You get what you pay for! These are some premium ear buds! The bass isn't as strong as beats, but the sound quality is just as good! Sharp, clear sound with durable cord and microphone! Worth the money!
