I bought this item for my girlfriend who cooks/bakes alot. She always complained that it was hard add items to her Kitchen-aid Mixer. This item makes it easy to add ingredients while the mixer is operating. She is happy with the item.

Then this shield is for you! With this shield you're able to keep those dry ingredients inside the bowl easier! The wet ingredients, easily poured in with no spilling over the side! I love this addition, or shall I say extension to my Kitchen Aid mixer!

Item did not fit my mixer bowl even though it claimed to be for a 4&1/2 and 5 qt bowl on the outside of the box

Didn't fit the 5qt lift bowl like it stated. Wanted to give it 5 stars.

Finally decided to splurge on this cover. Helps with pouring in ingredients.

This is great for using ingredients such as flour and sugars ...o lunch wish it fit a little tighter or snapped on

Wrong size was recommended for my kitchen aid so must take back to get correct attachments

this item is great. It keeps the area clean when you are mixing. the only negative is that it's kinda a one size fits all, so it moves around a little on the bowl. however that isn't a huge concern.

It makes it a lot easier adding ingrediants. I seems to be a messy cook anyway, so this just makes it easier for me to get all of the ingrediants into the bowl instead of just most of the ingrediants. I wish is would work on the Ice Cream Maker, especially since the mixer needs to be running when you put all of the ingrediants in. Hopefully KitchenAid figures that out and can make adjustments to their design.

I got this and I think I got it for $25 and it's simple and works as it should

It does mostly what it's designed to do just wish it clipped onto the bowl with a little more strength

Kind of said it all. The shield works just as advertised. Keeps things neater as I add ingredients. Sometimes I find I have trouble getting my ingredients into the chute without making a mess on the counter. (I'm sure I would make a bigger mess without it.) The best part was that I saved money and a lengthy shipping time by buying it from Best Buy rather than Kitchen Aid directly.

Product quality is good but it doesn't fit right on the bowl.

No more spills, With this shield it helps when you are trying to add an ingredient to-whatever you're trying to mix in your bowl,it helps to keep it from spilling or having to stop your mixer to add another ingredient . I love it
