Great Addition to my KitchenAid Mixer

The only problem is that it still is open in the back so it does still let some of the powder ingredients out.

But it doesn't stay in place very well. It just rests on the bowl with three little notches to keep it in place, the smallest bump can knock it off, which is rather annoying. Could be much better.

Doesn't fit the glass bowl
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I generally use the glass bowl for my Kitchenaid mixer and had hoped this would fit. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the glass bowl, so I use it on the standard steel bowl that came with the mixer. The shield works great when adding flour or sugar, it keeps everything in the bowl and not dusting the counter. I would recommend.

I did find the correct pouring shield for my 5 quart Lift Bowl stand mixer. Returned this one without any problems.
