I cannot say enough about this ereader. I have had it for about a week now, and have been very pleased with it. I did not get my Kobo Glo from Best Buy (they didn't have it in stock yet, but I was able to find it at 2 local independent bookstores), but thought it was so great that I had to leave a review about it. I researched all the ereaders out now with built-in lights for quite awhile. I was anxious for the Kobo product to come out for several reasons: 1) Both the Amazon Paperwhite and B&N Nook with Glowlight appeared to have technical issues with a large percentage of buyers (patchy green/pink areas on Kindle and "holes" on the Nook) 2) I have owned a Kobo original for a few years and it has always worked great, and 3) I LOVE, love, love the Kobo philosophy of open book reading. However, having said that, you never know with a new product if it will be what you are hoping it will be. Well, this Kobo Glo is not only all I was hoping for, but more. The light is fantastic. I have it down at the lowest to second-lowest setting when I'm in a totally dark room, and the screen does not have any imperfections. No patching, no holes, the color is exactly as it should be, just as a lighted page in a book. The settings are easy to use and right there, and the device is very quick and responsive during page turning, setting changes, etc. There are a few other little features such as a few games, facebook connection, and Reading Life that is nice also. Also, it's great that it has expandable memory, and I can turn the glo light on/off as I see fit. Overall a fantastic product!
