Kong Skull Island is a fresh take on a familial movie property that actually gets it right. The film begins at the end of WWII, and then the story picks up at the end of the Vietnam war. The film centers around an expedition team whom several of its members have hidden agendas as to why they are there. The story is pretty straight forward, what you would expect from a monster movie. The monsters are what you came to see and they do not disappoint. The CGI is flawless. It is truly amazing to see the jungle scenes and all of the different creatures blended seamlessly together. The video and audio are top notch, while the special features are pretty decent as well. If you are looking for a demo worthy disc with a pretty decent story with a lot of action, I would highly recommend this movie

Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Samuel L. Jackson is great in his role as the antagonist. Good CGI, great storyline! Can't wait to see Kong again in future films!

Kong delivers and its monster universe along with Godzilla will make people wonder if it’s possible for monsters to roam around the world??

This movie is very entertaining and intense. even you watch it for the second times is still pretty good. good movie to add to your collections.

I forgot the first King Kong I watched but I think that was 2001. But it’s really good movie but the special effects is not that good as now.

This movie has awesome action. It has great environments and the characters are very interesting. This is a must buy for any King Kong fan!!

Kong Skull Island is a good 3D movie. I went in not knowing what to expect and was surprised by how decent the story was and how much fun the action scenes were. The cinematography is beautiful and the 3D made it even more majestic. There is one issue however. The version I purchased showed it included a digital copy but the item I received did not have that label on it and no digital copy code inside. I'm not sure if I got a later version where they took the digital copy out and the image for it was never updated. Either way I'm disappointed as I use the digital copies of movies I purchase to share with my family so they don't damage my collection. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase besides that one issue. The 3D effects and quality are good. I would recommend this to anyone who collects 3D movies, likes monster films, or is a fan of King Kong. Thank you WB for continuing to release 3D movies! 5 out of 5 stars

The picture quality is not top-tier for a 4K release, but it's still very nice looking. Sound quality of the Atmos track is excellent. The movie itself is a really fun ride.

Love the special effects in this. Kong looks amazing and they did a great job with the story. Can't wait for the monsterverse to continue. All these movies are great!

If you are true fan of Godzilla movies, u should have this Kong movie because coming next summer, God vs King. Need me to say more?

Really loved watching repeat showings of this DVD! The FX/CGI was superior in format and visuals! Great plot, and very nice epilogue.

I’ve loved king king since I was 5 years old back in the early 90s. This is a great return of Kong with lots of action and excitement

Definitely recommend it and very unique! Glad to see Marvel actors at different roles but still do a great performance!

Great monster movie! If you own the new Godzilla movies then you definitely have to own this one. Sit back and turn it up!

Better than I thought it would be. Fun action/monster movie. Kong grew a little since the last movie. All the better to fight Godzilla in the up coming movie I guess!

This one not quite Kong, it's a good movie anyway. Always like when you first see islanders. Have to look for them. Illusions good.
