Gets cold, i love the size and the cord is long enough for the back seat. The only thing i didn't realize is the cover is not attached to the cooler it has lips that slide in to grooves.So be prepared the lid comes fully off.. And the lid does not stay open on its own you have to hold it up while your getting things out. Other than that i can fit sodas and food in there and it stays cold. I would recommend it for someone who needs a bigger cooler for more stuff .

I like the fact that you can keep things cool on the go. I am happy with my cooler and would recommend to anyone else about this cooler

I bought this for the first time doing my research and it is good it keeps your food cool but moisture is a problem cause water would be on the bottom of the cooler and would have to drain out the water. But the reason why I returned my cooler is that the plastic came off one day for no apparent reason. I would like Koolatron to upgrade and improve on less or no moisture and have a better quality built around the cooler

I don't like coolers with ice because it gets everything wet. This option appealed to me immensely. I've used the cooler for vacation travels for the last 16 days. It has worked well. Not sure what interior temp is but the food has stayed cold enough for me. Sometimes it sits in my minivan for a few hours during the day when we are sight seeing. It seems to maintain a cool temp (because it doesn't run when ignition is off). Wish it had been another few inches wider on the inside but it works. Over all, I'm satisfied.

I can now take leftovers on the road and keep fruit fresh and plenty of room for several bottles of water or soda.

Used this cooler for my travel to CA. The sodas & water stayed cool. You can also use it at home if you buy the extra plug. The mechanism to cool the unit is on the top cover so you can use it as a regular cooler (put ice) in case you don't have the option of keeping it plugged to your vehicle.

Very convenient and portable. It keeps my drink cold when I travel.

Took this on vacation for a week. Kept our drinking water very cold. Took it into motel to plug into the electric so everything stayed cold. I now take it grocery shopping. No more ice bags. Yay!!

Cooler works as advertised but the fan is too noisy for me to keep it if I can't get one that doesn't make noise. The fan rarely shuts up. I like and can use the cooler. It's big. I put two one gallon jugs of water on trips and there is lots more room still. Can we resolve the fan issue?

Cooler has run nonstop for 3 weeks and keeps everything cold. Only drawback is that ice builds up on the condenser and needs to be chipped off once a week. May be the humidity in the air, not sure. Otherwise loving it.

Very good design and components. Very efficient at cooling and keeping items cold.

For those hot days when you are at the park, this will keep things cool until you need them.

I just love it, I bought it for my truck at work, it was to big, so use it in my pickup at home to deliver my farm fresh eggs, it keeps them cold as they where in the fridge.

Once going it works good. It's a bit noisy tho and to start recommend using ice coolers to prime

WENT ON A TRIP TO FLORIDA USED IT ALL THE WAY WORKED GREAT THEN DROVE TO SAVANNAH GA BEST COOLER FOR INSIDE YOUR CAR OR TRUCK BUT I'M ALSO GOING TO GET THE 110 CONVERTER

Cooler works great and keeps things very cold without having to use ice.

Does great for keeping things cool. Good news is that the cooler part is in the lid so you can keep it close to luggage. The bad news is that the cooler part is in the lid which make it a little difficult to keep open to take things out. You can use the handle to prop the lid open but it comes off once in a while.

Great to travel keep stuff cold no need to stop by a store because your drinks are cold and sandwiches.

I was very disappointed with this purchase. First it didn't arrive until 13 days after I placed my order. Since Best Buy only has a 14 day return policy, that only gave me 1 day to use the product of which I wasn't able to. When I did use the product that weekend to see if it worked, I found it to be EXTREMELY noisy and took a while before it cooled. It does work, but I would have returned the product if I could have.
