    Best. Sterophones. Ever.

I am a DJ and was looking for new sterophones because after all whats the number one tool of a DJ, his sterophones. Growing up in Milwaukee, I've always seen the Koss factory from the freeway, and their billboard for every season, but had never owned their product and never thought much of it. Recently a DJ friend of mine recommended that I get a pair of high quality Sterophones if I was serious about taking over his gig's. I asked for them for X-Mas and got them. The sound quality is amazing, bass response unmatched. When I use them with my MacBook Pro, or deck, they are amazing. However with an MP3 player or iPod it's only a little better then a cheap pair of headphones. If your serious about sound quality and are willing to make an investment, go with these. With Koss's Lifetime Warranty you can't go wrong.

    Big Dissapointment

I bought these headphones with much anticipation that the sound was going to blow me away. Once I connected them to my interface (from my home recording studio), flat out dissapointed with the sound. My music went from sounding rich and full to dull and empty. the bass was non existent and when I turned the volume up it was nothing but distortion. The only thing I commend on these headphones is the sold design and build. The headphones were build with mostly metal parts which makes them a little heavier than I prefer but they would stand more of a beating. These headphones I would only reccommend for podcasting. Dont expect any bass response or fullness in sound. Definately not worth $100. The most I would pay for these headphones are $35. I would also not reccommend any Sennheiser headphones that are below the $100 range as they result in the same flat no bass sound, samething goes for Sony's headphones that are under $100. I would be looking at the Sennheisser HD280 as a final attempt to see if they can redeem themselves. Also the BEATS BY DRE are good headphones but only because the louder you put them, the more compressed the sound gets (ther battery operated drivers helps with this) which wont result in a accurate recording when in a studio. KOSS did a bad job with these headphones when it came to sound.

    koss is amazing

Had these headphones for a year now, and a different pair of Koss before them. They have held up amazingly well and still have the same quality from when i took them out of the box. Much better value than the Dr. Dre headphones and Bose. They have also always been comfortable. More people need to consider Koss when buying headphones.

A long respected name in studio headphones live up to that name. True flat frequency response. You hear what was heard in the studio.
