I have had this lock for about a month now and I never use a key only the keypad which makes it excellent for me not to struggle with keys and it's extremely great for my kids. I always worried about my kids key to the house getting lost or stolen and now they don't carry keys, they only use the keypad or I unlike remotely with the Time Warner Intellegent Home feature. Great lock and awesome features.

It's so convenient to lock and unlock the door and checking to see if it's locked. You can set it up so when you arm you security system that it locks your door. It's a must have.

Rarely use as part of security system, but I use this ALL the time! Very convenient and useful. No more worries about being locked out. Installation was a little tricky, but very doable as long as you take your time. I would recommend this for anyone with or without a security system.
