I unfortunately cant give a log review as the unit ended up not working for my application as i have a iron door.

I was a bit disappointed with the way this product works as it requires Bluetooth connectivity and if you have several devices already connected to the phone(like an earpiece or a watch), then it would not work seamlessly

I like the product. The way you can guve virtual keys with expiration is great. Other thing I like is the lock is not connected to internet then is not risk to be exposed to cyberattacks. There are two thinks I dont like are: The product doesnt come with a instruction manual and you have to access a video to install it. The other thing I dont like is sometimes you need to have the mobile too close to the door lock to make it open.

So, I was really excited to use this item. I also have a ring doorbell which I heard integrates with the Kevo, but I haven't installed the doorbell yet, so I can't comment on that yet. I can say that the touch functionality of it is frustrating... at least to me. It takes about 10 seconds for the lock to connect with your phone when just walking up and sometimes it doesn't connect at all during the first touch event. Most times it's faster just to use your key and god forbid you accidentally touch the lock when your trying to unlock it with the key. The one handy occasion the touch function is good for is when your hands are full and you can't get to your keys. Outside of that one benefit the lock is as good as any other kwikset dead bolt. I will say that it does have a slight cool factor when you're upstairs and you know who's at the door, so you just open it with your phone.

I have set this lock up to automatically lock within 30 seconds of opening. So I never have to worry about not having the door locked. I love that I can just tap on the lock from the outside with my phone still in my purse and the lock will open. I have had no problems with the app or the lock itself. I love the flexibility and convenience of this.

The Kwikset Kevo 2 has come in so handy when my arms are full of packages and I need to walk through my locked front door. You can activate it to unlock before you get out of your car or simply tap on the lock when you get to the door. When leaving, you just tap the lock on the outside of the door and it locks it for you.

I actually thought this would be difficult to put in. Was a breeze works like a champ. Have 3 other roommates and got all their ekeys registered within seconds. Now we don’t have to worry about looking for keys in the early or night sky. We just touch and it unlocks while we have our phone in our pockets

It is very nice to not have to get the key out and just open the door with a touch

Setup requires app which is inconvenient. Great device after installation. Would be nice if they included a printed manual.

Love this lock, easy to install following the directions, the printed is a bit easier then the video the little details. Teaching it took less then 5 minutes and now it's so much easier opening the door without having to mess with keys. I thought it worked with the Echo but doesn't, would be a great feature if it would just for locking.

Very easy installation process. However, it would not connect to my iPhone 6s when trying to perform the update so I could not manage my lock with my phone. Returned it for the August and that was simple to use and works great as a smart lock.

I am absolutely thrilled with my Kevo door lock. So thrilled that I plan on buying one more for the back door! I am a senior citizen with neuropathy in my hands. Struggling with getting a key in a lock is almost impossible. With Kēvo I simply touch the lock and it opens or closes. I love it.

I really like this Kevo system. It's easy to install and the app works great.

I replaced an existing Kwikset deadbolt so the installation was pretty easy and simple. Took me less then 30 minutes and I haven't changed a lock in over 25 years. Re keying the lock to my old key took 5 seconds. Kevo is solidly built and works like a charm. Have been very satisfied with it.

This door lock is pretty OK; the only downside is that I can't unlock the door from anywhere like other smart doorlocks. I can send links to whomever I want to grant access to my home and they have to download the software. I'd like to simply be able to unlock it myself from a remote location.

This works great and is a pleasure to use. Install was quite easy

Easy to installed however, it does not work every time. I have to always bring up the App before it unlocks or locks. If i try without having the app open it does nothing.

This is really easy to install and the software is easy to get it all working. I love the ease of having the whole family simply use their phones for entry and exit. You don't have to ask yourself "did I remember to lock the door?", just check your app.

Because of the cold it constantly sends me low battery messages.
