Customers are saying

Customers recognize the high build quality and fun factor of the Labo Toy-Con: Vehicle Kit, frequently praising the engaging gameplay and creative aspects. However, some customers note that assembly can be time-consuming, particularly for younger children, and that the cardboard construction may present storage challenges. The price point is also a factor, with some finding it worthwhile, especially when purchased on sale.

Nintendo Labo vehicle kit is a great product!

Nintendo Labo is a great toy because not only does the child have the opportunity to build it, he or she is able to actually use it as well. The finished parts work in a video game that comes with the kit. The instructions were easy to follow for my 9 year old son and he was able to make all the projects independently. He has also tried other labo products and has enjoyed them as well.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew and niece. They absolutely love it. The kids were really happy to receive it. They seem to be having lots of fun playing with the toy cons. I regularly receive photo and video messages of the kids playing with these items and thanking me for them. It was a definite hit as a gift. These make an especially good value if you manage to get them on sale.

I was skeptical about paying so much money for a bunch of cardboard, but this has been so much fun! The quality of the cardboard is great and has held up perfectly from almost a year of play. Building the sets is part of the fun, but does take quite a bit of time so be prepared when starting one. I like that you can choose to only build one piece at a time to extend the fun. Definitely recommend!

I bought this for my daughter who's started to get into building (i.e., Legos) and we both love our Nintendo Switch. This was a no brainer for $20 and we had hours of fun building it. The games itself is a bit bland, but still enjoyable. The real fun is in the building of the different components. I hope they come out with more Labo kits!

Honestly, I had no idea what to expect from this when I bought it (I don't have the other Labo kits), but the quality of this surprised me. It certainly felt weird spending $$$ for so much cardboard, but after putting the pieces together and seeing everything that they had to design, it is money well spent (so far). My 5 year old kid has been playing for over a week now, and it's held up very well.

Labo is as creative as Nintendo has been in a long time, since Mario Paint. My 4 year old daughter loves the Labo kits and kit #3 is no exception. Driving the vehicles is a blast and the ability to import racing tracks you made with kit #1 is really cool. Also making maps of objects laying around your house or of your hands or face is quite clever. Don't listen to the naysayers. Labo is awesome!

I missed out the first time this went on a deal of the day as it sold out pretty quick, when I saw it go back again I knew I had to order it. We gave it as a gift to our daughter and she loved it, kept her busy assembling it and enjoyed the simple games, out toddler boy also loved the games and being able to control them in a more realistic way.

Very well thought out kit which provides hours of activity for kids and young adults. I specially like how they have created instructional videos to help out with the assembly. Makes following a lot more easier than reading a booklet. As for the games it self, they are very basic but enough to be interesting and engaging for kids.

Definitely worth the money if your kid are into building sets. This was purchased for a 10 year old and he hasn’t put it down for 2 days. Nintendo must have made these perfect because he has not had one problem fitting pieces and he has done it all by himself. Not sure if we will be buying the other kits, but this one is great.

This is the third set introduced on the LABO line and the best one in my opinion. This set provides more robust gaming experiences. You still get to build a couple of really neat things including a steering wheel and a flight stick. The main selling point here is that the games behind them are a little bit more robust, they feel more like games and not like small demos

My wife questioned why we were buying cardboard. She ended up building the entire thing for our kids and then also played it with them. She never plays games! The pieces are pretty sturdy, the games modes keep my kids entertained. I would recommend buying this as a great family experience from the building to the gameplay.

This kit comes with the material to make a steering wheel and gas pedal for the car, some funky mechanism to manuever a submarine, and a throttle grip to fly a plane. Building all these takes quite a few hours but it's still somewhat therapeutic doing so. Also, you can use the steering wheel and pedal in Mario Cart 8!

Purchased this for my son for his 10th birthday. We just finished building it today and he is having a blast with it. Building everything definitely takes a few hours, but it's very easy to do. The game itself shows you how to assemble everything. He is having a blast driving all of the vehicles.

I wouldn't spend more than $25 for this game, but for cheap it's a decent value for a few hours of fun. There's not much depth to the games, so you'll probably only end up playing it once or twice before getting bored with it. Pretty cool that the wheel can be used in Mario Kart, but it is a gimmick that you'll get bored with.

This is a great addon for the Nintendo Switch. My boy loves being able to have a steering wheel to drive with. So far it holds up well, but he is VERY careful with his Switch. We will have to see how it holds up with 4 boys. Activities are pretty good too. Love the Nintendo ingenuity.

At MSRP it might be a hard sell for me, but for sale price it seems to be a good deal for some. I believe I spent more time building then kids playing. However building itself is a cool experience as the engineering that went it designing it. UI showing step by step with different angles for smaller children are great. I think it falls short as a actual game vs the puzzle building though which is what some might be after.

I thought it was just some card board stock, but it’s actually quite cool. My 5 year old had a blast building all of the kits. The games aren’t on par with something like Mario kart, but they were more complex and fun than expected. Bought it on sale, but I think it’s decent value even at full price.
