Finally got around to seeing this with this release. I wish I would have seen it when I was younger, I probably would have enjoyed it more. I still enjoyed it however and thought it was a pretty cool movie. It does look dated but the PQ looks great on 4K. The packaging is excellent.

Despite David Bowie's tight pants, I wanted my kid to enjoy some great work by Jim Henson and some fun music in a movie that stresses never giving up and relying on your friends.

We purchased this specifically to watch with our 5 yr. old grandson. He watched it and loved it. SO much to love: Bowie's performance, great music, Jim Henson's creations.

This movie is excellent. Very funny. I have always enjoyed it since it came out. The 4K copy adds even more detail visually, and the sound is also very good. Add this movie in this format to your must buy list.

It is one (of the many) of the best Henson movies! It has some very good actors, a great story, some really awesome creativity, and great for the whole family. The puppets are so good that you almost forget there are people behind or under them! The sets are really incredible and David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly are very good together. Love Hoggle and Ludo. Shout out to David Bowie as he did the music and he definitely gives you the WOW factor. Entertaining and imaginative!

This movie is great, has amazing FUNNY lines, fast action, really sets a nice pace. The sound is great, can't say enough good things about the sound, it has what you expect for the money you spend on a disk of this magnitude, the money they spent was well placed. You get high quality content. The CGI is so realistic you forget its CGI and just fall into the story and lose yourself in the emotion and staging of the drama and action.

This is one of my favorites from Jim Henson as a kid. The puppeteers and special effects was way before its time. And now that it’s on 4k really bring things to life like.

The only reason for the four stars here is because the digibook anniversary edition of Labyrinth is the superior edition of the film. It boasts a new (and noticeably better) transfer and comes in a lavish, attractive package. With that said, this particular edition of Labyrinth here is still serviceable with a quality HD transfer and various special features to boot. If you're just a casual fan, this more economic variation will do but if Labyrinth is one of your favorites then you owe it to yourself to get the anniversary edition.

All this movie has not aged very gracefully for the new generation, for those of us products of the 1980s, you will be highly entertained by the numerous volume of special features included on this disk, including numerous various documentaries and behind the scenes features, as well as commentaries featuring Brian Henson as well as others. A relatively low costing Blu-ray set considering all of the additional value they get from the special features. Strongly recommended.

I am happy with the Labyrinth blu-ray disc and will definitely replace it with a 4K disc when I get a 4K television and I will not buy a 4K television until they are 3D and you can watch them without glasses. I look forward to that and to giving away my old copy to a friend or charity.
