Blue-ray disc was very clear. I loved the movie!!!

Just a great fantasy story. It's a throwback - they don't make family entertainment like this anymore.

This brought back memories of my childhood! Might be bit campy for today's kid, but I still think it's fun to watch.

Classic movie starring the late great David Bowie. Remember this as a child and now turned my own kids onto it.

I think young girls will love this movie. In fact the 20-something young lady who sold the DVD to me was raving about how much she loved it as a kid. However, I didn’t find the movie to be up to Jim Henson’s usual artistic accomplishments. David Bowie was just okay as the goblin king. Jennifer does a fine job as the girl on a quest to recover her baby brother.

This has always been a favorite movie of my wife and both daughters. Glad to finally have it on BluRay

Quality on the 4K is great...I hadn't watched the movie in about 20 years...completely forgot how bizarre it is.

This was a staple movie and takes you back to your 80s childhood. The music is catchy and the puppet figures are hilarious.

This movie is an instant classic with the added bonus of David Bowie. Great movie with a great sound track.

What else is there to say, David Bowie, Jim Henson, puppets and weird 80's...... makes for a great movie.

I bought this for my wife. It is her childhood favorite movie and it's even bettern now that it is in 4k.

I found this movie to be extremely dated in terms of plot, presentation, and special effects. I purchased it in order to "see" it in 4K. What a huge disappointment. I doubt that there was any appreciable improvement of this 30 year old movie when compared with the prior 1080p Blu-Ray disc. I was totally bored by the movie and have since sold my 4K on eBay.

I never saw it before until I picked it up recently at Best Buy. Well I never finished it. I got half way thru and stopped it as I thought it was really bad. I love the late David Bowie but not in this role. I will stick to his music. Maybe if I watched this when I was like 12 years old I would have liked it. I bet Jim Henson is regretting this as he lays 6 feet under.

A movie i enjoyed so much as a child, now in 4k format with dolby atmos sound. What else can i ask for?

some scenes in movie were kind of corny but other than that i recommend this to anyone who wants to see this classic!

1. HDR colors are very good. 2. Due to how old this movie is, there are times when the is significant video noise, and the special effects are easy to spot. I did enjoy this, even though there were rough times with the video noise and dated special effects. Only way to really overcome all of that is to do a complete remake/reshoot which is highly unlikely.

Going back to a time of puppets and imagination. This hits the past so hard. Still a cool movie

Great movie at a great price. I loved seeing this as a kid and can't wait for my kids to see it.
