This live project was long over due for Lalah. There is nothing bad about it. If you've never had the opportunity to see her live in concert, then you will get that experience with this cd. As a bonus, you get new material along with the live versions of some of your favorites. Lalah voice is in a class that not many occupy. She deserves the support on this project, and hopefully the industry will recognize it come GRAMMY season. You will not regret this cd at all.

LALAH sings as if she was DONNIE reincarnated.She has the range and the sultry swagger of her dad.I was privileged to see Donnie Hathaway and Roberta Flack sing together in Puerto Rico while on vacation.Now I am going to see Lalah on Easter Sunday.WHAT A BLESSING!!!

The late Donny Hathaway, popularized with Roberta Flack duet, had a daughter who is gifted as well. Recently sitting in with the Roots on the Tonight Show, she's got a soulful smooth style reminiscent of her Father that's easy to appreciate. There's some strong material on this album with some lesser mood music. Great thing is the bonus material exclusive to Best Buy which is an added incentive to check out.

I love the CD, I recommend it to anyone, I can't wait until Lahla comes out with another album. She has done her father proud. This CD is for the grown and sexy, but the young folks can learn a lot about good music from this CD.

This album is the perfect soul tribute to her fans and most importantly her first solo project in honor of her late father Donny and his live album at the same location in the 70s. Excellent work by my favorite female artist!

I has the pleasure of seeing Lalah Hathaway Live in concert in GA at the release of her album. This album is a fantastic representation of her live performances. You will not be disappointed with this purchase!

Although I love Lalah, there were some of her good songs that she didn't sing live on the album but chose to sing cover songs (you belong to me, Angel) instead. However Best Buy came through with bonus tracks (studio recordings) that saved the CD. Although I was a lil disappointed I would still say this is a good buy.

Lalah has a great voice, she mixes jazz,blues and R&B very well. live albums are great because you heard the artist unfiltered angel and forever for always for love are great remakes.

This album was nice to listen to. I'm pleased with this purchased. They could've mixed and mastered this album better, but that doesn't take away from the material.

Lalah Hathaway Live is an amazing CD. Amazing voice, great songs, and also a nice tribute to her late father.

I would give this CD 10 stars if I could what we have here is the best of both worlds Lalah Hathaway .. LIVE. It just doesn't get any better. I love it!!

I absolutely love that Lalah did this LIVE album. I have been waiting on this masterpiece for a while.

This is an excellent CD. Lalah Hathaway has a sultry smooth voice and exhibits this on this CD. She has a jazzy sound. Can't miss music.

I heard her rendition of "Angel" and fell in love with it. I searched for the album and haven't been disappointed.

Wonderful album. This one will stand alone side of her father's timeless contributions. As always worth the money.

I purchased the CD not knowing that two of my current favorite hits were included. Easy listening. Lay back and vibe!!

Lalah was blessed with the female version of father's uncommonly great voice--its truly scary but reassuring that he lives through his daughter. With that in mind she has done a wonderful job in making this album.

This is the best cd that she has recorded. This cd not only has 12 live recordings and 4 studio recordings.

Lalays greates hits plus 2 new future classics. Crazy about the Anita Baker remake. A must have CD!

Like father, like daughter! An amazing work. A rare treat to listen to a live recording these days.
