great desk for the price worked well after knee surgery

This product is simple yet effective. It provides support for your laptop and raises it off your lap to prevent overheating or heat on your legs. The only thing to be careful of is it is slick on top so if you lean over the laptop slides.

Very comfortable and more than enough room to hold my laptop and mouse. Wrist rest levels my laptop out straight, very nice especially propped up in bed.

We live in an RV and I use my laptop generally while sitting in my recliner. It was too hot on my lap and awkward. The lap desk is the perfect solution. There is also room to use a mouse next to the laptop.

I like this desk a lot. It doesn't have a fan, but unless your laptop puts out a lot of heat, you don't need it with this. I have a new Toshiba and it puts out very little heat. As the description says, there's room for your mouse, and the wrist pad and non-slip texture keep the computer from sliding off. It just makes using the laptop while I watch TV much simpler, and less wobbly as I type. Everything BB says about it is true! You will not regret choosing this lap desk.

Love this lap desk. Allows me to surf & email while watching TV. Nerdy I know. I love the wrist wrest and the fact that there is room for a mouse too. Great product and I would recommend to all.

Fits my 17 In laptop. Arm rest and built in mouse pad are convenient. It would be nice to have more padding. When sitting on a couch with legs extended on couch, need to put a towel or something under for padding.

I got this to go with my labtop. It's nice when u want to use your computer on the couch or in bed without making your lap hot. Also its very stable and has enough extra room for a mouse..

I liked the price point on this lap-desk as well as its size for a larger laptop. However, the hand-rest is hard plastic and that is none too comfortable to me. My mother however loves it as a gift :)

I use this for my MacBook Pro. It has more than enough space for the laptop a mouse & a bit of room for note taking. My one desire is I would like more padding width on the front because it can rub in the knee area. Other than that,bit does a great job.

Bought this lap desk for my son who uses it for his lap top computer. He loves it because it isn't really big but it does have room for a mouse. It also has a handle and storage areas.

This is very comfortable to use and have a mouse pad that i can use which make my work fast, can be used any where and get away from the heat of laptop.

This laptop desk has room enough for both the laptop and a mouse - and a document if necessary. It also has zipper pouches underneath so I can store the mouse when done!

Got this lap desk for my daughter who stays on the couch using her laptop continuously for games, homework, videos....you name it. This lap desk provides a flat surface plus allows for airflow in the middle while providing a cushion for your legs. She loves it.

I was using an old Rollerblade box for a lap rest. My dogs had eaten the corners and it was falling over. I saw this aimlessly wandering through bestbuy and thought great this will do... and it does. An added bonus my dogs are not trying to eat the corners

Nice lap desk for a laptop. Keeps the hot PC off my legs, provides circulation for the PC (no fans, just a hard surface instead of clothing which can block the laptop's vents). I have a large laptop (17") and it works fine for it.

I have the ASUS G75, which is a big laptop (17.3" monitor, 16.5 x 12.9 x 2.4, 8.7lbs). I had looked for a while for a good lap desk but none were big enough to hold my laptop with enough room for my external mouse. An employee showed me this one, and though I was skeptical I tried it. It turned out to be a great choice! The desk space is perfect for my laptop and there is still room enough for my mouse. I play a lot of games (Guild Wars 1 & 2, Diablo II & III, Minecraft, etc) so having that capability is a must. I have tried playing without a lap desk and it is really taxing on the patience. This lap desk takes care of that problem. The pillow cushions underneath are wonderful. Two long, bead-filled bags run length-wise on the bottom and are very comfortable, even when holding a nearly-9lb computer for 4+ hours at a time. No stress, no fatigue at all. A cool feature of this desk are the zipper pockets between the pillows on the bottom. They are affixed on the outer edges and have Velcro on the inner edges so that you can release one edge and they will hang down on either side of your lap. These are perfect for holding my mouse, USB cable, external HD, and ear buds. They make it a lot easier to transport the computer and peripherals. The thing I don't like about it is the balance of the desk. When I set it down on a flat, level surface I have to double-check to make sure that the pillows are spread front to back as far as they can go to ensure balance (and then I Have to close the lid on my laptop half-way). I have watched as my computer has nearly bit the dust several times because of the balance of the desk being off when I set it down. If you get this lap desk, be aware of this. That being said this is a great lap desk. If it will hold my monster laptop and still leave me room for an external mouse it will work for any other laptop.

I was not sure if I really needed the Lap Desk until I got home and started to use it. When I saw it in the Best Buy ad I decided to give it a try and I am happy I that I did. Creative Essentials made a product. that was a perfect fit for my laptop.
