The desk is comfortable and keeps my lap cool. But, there is no extra room on the desk for anything else. The laptop also sometimes slides on top of the desk because there is nothing to keep in place. But, it makes a great writing desk too. I don't think the lap desk is necessary, but my husband wanted it.

This is a perfect size to hold a Wacom tablet to digitally paint, or for a laptop. However, the surface needs to be more static and less slippery surface. I use it to hold a Wacom tablet pro to digitally paint, so I had to place a thin strip of Velcro near the bottom, and a thin strip on the Wacom tablet so it will grip while I digitally paint.

I got it on sale and am well pleased. Fits my computer well. Very lightweight with the carry handle makes it uber portable.

This laptop desk is so easy to use. No plugins or extras. Just a good basic design that makes it comfortable to use and keeps your laptop computer cool. It is lightweight and easy to take along.

The Lapgear lap desk provides an adequate solution to using a laptop while sitting on the couch - ensuring sufficient cooling. However it would be better if it had a lip or ridge on the bottom edge to keep the laptop from slipping off - it would also make it more practical when used as a writing surface.

Got this for my son and he uses it with a Mac Air and his iPad. Perfect size.

Nice large, steady, light and comfortable laptop desk. Works really well for when you're in bed

I never thought I would need one of these until I used it, then I was hooked. Not only does it allow you to work on a flat surface wherever you want, but when using it with a laptop, it doesn't matter how hot your computer gets, the lapdesk protects you! It's also great if you are video chatting someone for a long time and you have your computer on your lap.

I did not buy this, it was a gift. It's for my laptop, and would be better if surface allowed air to circulate so my laptop wouldn't heat up so much. I would recommend this for a lap desk, but not if being used for a laptop.

This lap top tray is very good for use with a laptop. It is sturdy and comfortable to use

Great deck to use and cool the laptop. Only drawback is nothing prevents laptop from sliding down into your lap. Add a little lip or anti-slip areas

My Husband loves this lap desk. It makes it comfortable for him to do his work on his lap top while sitting on the couch. He has a 14" lap top and it fits perfectly on this lap desk.
