I like the nice flat surface so the laptop sits level. The bar at the bottom keep's it from sliding down if it's on your lap. You don't feel any heat from the bottom of the computer no matter how long you have been on the laptop. I also, love the handle it makes it easy to move around with or take to another room. I really like the soft bottom and very pleased with my purchase.

I purchased this for my mom and she absolutely loves it. She has a 17" laptop, which I knew when purchasing this model was going to be a tight fit, but after researching a variety of different lap desks there was no doubt this was the one. I've used it a few times also and after finishing up this review will be purchasing one for myself as well (I have an 11.6" laptop). You can't go wrong with this lap desk! ***Please note as some other reviewers have also stated, the color of the lap desk in the photos looks blue, but it is in fact purple.

Best product for the price. Fits comfortably on your lap and holds anything from your laptop to your smartphone. The cushion underneath keeps it in place while lounging in bed and raises the height of anything you put on it to a comfortable height. Stores easily on a nighstand or endtable for easy access.

The lap desk keeps my laptop from moving while it sits on my lap. I can move my legs and not worry about the laptop falling. The lap desk is not heavy and its padded bottom fits perfectly on my lap.

I am able to use by Surface 2 anywhere since I carry my own table top to place it on. The top of the lap desk is easy to clean. The padded bottom is comfortable on my lap and does not get hot sitting there for hours at a time. Love the light weight and ample topside to work on.

I am satisfied with my lap desk because I use my laptop most of the time sitting on the couch. The lap desk keeps me from feeling the heat after I've been using my laptop for awhile. I also use it for writing at times. It has a piece on the front that is suppose to keep your laptop from sliding forward, but it doesn't work so well & I have an ultra book which is super thin, so if it cannot keep that from sliding, I doubt it would keep a normal size laptop from sliding. The handle is convenient moving it from place to place. Bottom line... I needed something to put my laptop on while using it sitting in bed, on the couch etc. and for that, it fits the bill.

I really like this laptop desk. It is comfortable and conforms to my lap well. I still had the problem of my laptop overheating even on the laptop desk, but I think that it was because the rubber feet fell of and the cooling vents were unable to move air. I use it all the time with my Macbook Pro and it holds the computer steady on my lap. It works great and is worth the cost, although I still think it could cost a little less.

We just got our first laptop and found that the bottom gets very warm after using it for awhile. This lap desk is so great for keeping that heat off your legs. It's just the right size and can be used for many other things as well such as when reading a book or playing cards. Those are just two examples. We just love this thing.

I love this lap desk! It's durable, comfy, and looks great. My OLD lap desk was thin plastic and flimsy. Naturally, it cracked and I had to toss it. I was so glad to find this one. I LOVE IT!!! I also like that it's curved and not square.

I've had this lap desk for awhile now and it has served me well. The padding feels comfortable on your lap and the sturdy surface is great for laptops, writing or supporting the bottom of a book you're reading. I recommend this product.

Keeps lap and laptop cool. Big enough for laptop and mouse (if you use one), unless you have a larger 17" screen. Comfortable and sturdy. Can also use for writing surface and as a snack tray. It even has a handle to carry it with you. I have three of them scattered about the house and family members use them al the time.

It is comfortable and solid, a must for typing in bed! My favorite feature is the curve at the bottom of the apple shape, it's conforms to the body. It's also wide enough to utilize a wireless mouse.

I bought this item for my girlfriend for Xmas and she loves it. Originally neither of us were overly excited about it because it's just not one of those big ticket items that get big reactions under the tree, but recently she has been using it a lot and has expressed her appreciation more than once. This item is indeed very good for keeping a hot laptop off of your legs while on the couch or in bed. She has also used it with her nook, but again, some laptops become very uncomfortably hot and the hard surface and padding keeps her comfortable and insulated while using the computer. At $30 this is a good buy.

I use this on my lap so that I can have my tablet open and write notes at the same time. This gives me plenty of space. It is also quite comfortable on my lap because the cushion on the bottom has just enough "give" to keep this Lap-desk from sliding.
