Excellent learning and fun tool for preK and older kids

LeapPad was great for my 4yr old. Very durable and engaging. However the only complaint that I would give is that there aren't more games included. The games that are included also require all of interaction which is a positive most of the time, however sometimes if your child wants to just play something quick it can be less attractive.

Nice but you have to buy the games separate and need wifi to download the content.

My son owned the lead pad ultra before this model and he enjoyed using it. the tablet started to act up and took it back to Best Buy because it had warranty coverage. Best Buy replaced his old one with a new platinum model and we were able to transfer all, but one of his previously owned games My son loves it.

This is an excellent product. My granddaughter is 18 months old. I found this tablet to be to advanced for her. What I did not like is only Leap Pads apps are available. I have returned this item and purchased a tablet much more age appropriate that also allows me to purchase the apps of my choice.

Bought this for one of my granddaughter's as she has out grow it lean a ton with it now passed it down to her younger sister now this is very reliable and would recommend anyone buy this before a playstation xbox they will and can not teach them anything of use DenBurd

My granddaughter likes this, I bought the tablet/ game station at Best Buy however Best Buy does not stock the the games/learning disks, so that's a bummer. But you can get games through other retail outlets.

Purchased for my 5 year old for Christmas. Hes had a Leapfrog 2 for a few years and loves it. The Platinum has a lot of new features and friendly interface, but needed to delete many of the unused apps pre-installed in order to download his old apps to it.

This is the third Leap pad product that I have purchased for my kids. The first two were ultra and they worked well but were slow to update and resolution was just okay. This version is faster and the resolution is better. Good for young kids

My kid loves playing this game because it's like watching the tv shows, but also being a part of it. It's being drop a few times and carried by the stylist and it still works great.

My 3 yr old grandson likes his leap pad however a lot of the games are too old for him. 3 yr olds have much shorter attention spans and get bored with the games quickly.

my granddaughter loves this. the only complaint is that the size is so large it makes it difficult for her to hold and manipulate to buttons. But she is only 1

This is a good product to pre k kids. But with the tech gears available to kids these days, they tend to get bored with this product. It is not entirely captivating.

my neice loves this pad....the only drawback is that there are not many programs loaded on it and they are fairly expensive. Great for all age groups

Was pleasantly surprised with how much there is on this little laptop. Purchased 2 games to go with this. Now my sister can have her phone back! Lol!

The Leapfrog is perfect for children. My granddaughter wanted to play games on mommy and daddy's IPad but now she has her own Leappad. She loves it!

This a great and durable tablet for my 3 year old. The different games offered allows for various skills to be learned and/or reinforced.
