I love the fact that we no longer have to replace batteries. My son would use his leap pad all day long. At the end of the day the AA batteries would be dead. Luckily we got him the recharging pack so its no longer an issue. I just wish they would have been lithium ion batteries with a bit longer life instead of NiCad.

Great charger saves money on batteries. Charger will hold charge for a long time.

Must have to go with leap pad. Charge lasts longer than any battery before it.

After spending a amall fortune on batteries after Christmas, we decided to invest in something rechargable. We opted for the Leap Pad 2 charging pack hoping that since it was a Leap Pad product it would be easy to use. Everything works great, and our Grand daughter can now take her Leap Pad everywhere with her, and we don't have to make sure to bring along an extra 6 batteries.

Not much to say other than it's a life saver to be able to easily recharge the batteries on the LeapPad 2. It's not a cheap investment though at almost half the cost of that actual LeapPad.

Having a rechargable battery pack for a childs toy is great.

This charger is very good for kids who use their LeapPad often, as it eats up batteries quickly. The charger lets you charge the LeapPad and play it while it's charging so there is no down time and kids don't have to wait for it to charge. Great idea, but the charger should come with the LeapPad!!

This product makes it possible for my child to have his leap frog ready for use at anytime. No need to scramble looking for batteries. I can have the leap frog ready for use whenever my child needs it. This charger should be made a part of the leap frog package and not an additional accessory.

Long and short of it, this is a set of rechargeable batteries for the LeapPad. They have small plastic tabs attached that interface with the electrical contacts inside the unit so that you just use the power outlet on the device and don't have to remove them to charge them. They work fine, but are just really expensive... 4 rechargeable AA batteries would run you no more than $10. This thing cost us about $40.

Love this! I went a year before buying this for my son's leappad. We were constantly replacing batteries! I should have bought this right away! Don't wait! So worth the money!

The Leap pad has been a great entertaining toy for my son. Unfortunately, it went through a set of 4 batteries every week. These batteries stay in the unit while it is being recharged. This makes it just as easy to recharge as a cellphone. It makes you wish it came with the batteries initially instead of a separate purchase.

Our son uses the leap pad 2 all of the time. Was getting tired of buying batteries every week for it. With the recharge pack no more buying batteries.

The LeapPad seems to eat batteries quickly. This charger makes me breath easier when it's accidentally left on or played with for hours.

I bought this for my grandsons LeapPad because he uses it everyday and I was tired of having to buy batteries everyweek.

Your child can spend hours playing with the leappad without spend a lot of money

Wish u had purchased this sooner. Would have saved lots of money on batteries and much better for the environment
